Bro you need to stop crying about the refs. Our players too. Take it as it comes and keep it moving.

Would you shut up and stop telling people WTH to do?

It’s a legit concern when you’re watching your team get hacked to death and the league is obviously trying their hardest to help your team’s opponent.

Either leave or shut the F up. Your crying about me is worse than us fans having legit discussion about game officiating.

Cry on bro. Do you.

Could you two just do us a favor and avoid each other?

The good news for Philly is…

Curry had a really good night and Embiid at best inflamed his knee today with all his falling down antics. (At worse, he may not be worth anything in a loss.

If they're counting on Seth to turn into his brother in a second round playoff series, they're in trouble.

Hawks showed a lot of grit and maturity in this game. Passed the eye test with flying colors even with Hunter sidelined.

1-0 Hawks #WeMove

Can the real #1 seed please stand up?

This Hawks team has talent, skill and mental toughness , 5-1 in the playoffs so far . Most people expected Philly to fight back and make it close , they did but we still got the win. Coach Nate is making the right moves . We got this.

Win Tuesday, come home, get a practice in and we could take control of the series.

I don’t know why they don’t just give it to Embiid in the low-post every play. He either scores or gets the foul call like 90% of the time.

We’re going to have to shoot 50%+ every game to win this series.

I hope they make an adjustment cause he would just push is way to the rim. I am surprised they didn't do this earlier in the game.

He gave all he has in game one. He will decline and my man Nate knows it. You fans don’t know about Nate McMillan? Dude was a Captain on the court. Literally called the Captain in his playing days. A defensive specialist. Why do you think the Hawks defense has improved?

And if we didn’t try to play four corners at the end, along with the mugging, who knows if they would have gotten within ten of us.

But like Nate said, it’s always better to teach after a win and the way this one ended I am SURE they will be some teaching and learning going on.

This tells me the sixers are in more trouble than I thought!

But honestly, you could tell that’s what they wanted to do and that is why hat brought them back.

One good thing is that it appears that the national news is starting to pick up on that, which could lead to the league not allowing that play.

They literally have to foul to contain this man?  You simply can’t play great defense like our team is?  Gtfoh this ain’t street ball.

Lol, Sixers thinking they could just pull a page from the Bad Boy Pistons in 2021.

Looks like it only took ONE GAME to get into their heads.

I feel even better this morning with thing talking like this, instead of playing better team defense.

That along with Embiid probably being less effective next game assuming he DOES play, should be alarming for Philly!

They wish 😂 Seriously though our guys have no problem playing great defense without initially fouling.  They are just trying to gain an advantage which is weak.

Simmons is gonna be very embarrassed when the Hawks start hacking him and sending him to the free throw line if the game is close near the end.

When your All Star point guard can't shoot free throws that's a problem .LOL  Also really a dumb move to talk about hacking Trae.

Yep

Simmons has been in the NBA for 5 years(played 4 years), he should at least be decent at the free throw line and can at least shoot some by now. No one expected him to be this unequipped offensively coming out of LSU as the #1 pick.

Doc Rivers needs to look more into how Simmons spends his offseasons because he's about to turn 25 and still can't do nothing but pass and drive offensively.

IMO Simmons is not an AllStar

I agree. He's media/public hype.

He's a really good defender, but no way can you be a 3 time All-Star PG and can't even shoot or make free throws. Simmons is more of a glorified role player than he is an actual 2nd All-Star to Embid. Tobias Harris is really their 2nd best offensive threat.

NBA All-Star selection has been terrible forever though because many players including D. Wade were still getting All-Star nods when they were no longer that caliber of player.

John Collins is gonna need more touches and he's going to need to be efficient if we want to win this series

Tobias Harris is physical, but way too small to guard John in the post. Their best matchup for John is Simmons, but they're going to need to keep him on Trae, or trap Trae and give wide open threes and rim rolls.

Also, look at these matchups -

Trae - Green

Bogi - Simmons

Curry - Solo

Was how they started the game.  If DeAndre is good to go, they're going to try to hide a poor defender in Curry on him and as we saw vs. Derrick Rose, DeAndre needs to attack that from the post and mid range every time. He's cooked small guards all year, no reason we shouldn't try that here if DeAndre is good and healthy.

I honestly really like how we matchup with them. As long as Embiid isn't scoring 40 again, I really like our chances to score against this team. They don't have good matchups for guys like DeAndre and John, and Trae is...Trae

All we gotta do is get stops. I like our chances to put up points if we seek out the matchups we want.

That’s how we won game one in NY, because they missed a handful of free throws down the stretch.

I could easily see that same scenario happening at some point in this series. Especially with Embiid on limited time.
