The Lakers look to even things up against the Suns in Phoenix.
The Lukas attempt to go up 2-0 against that other LA team.

Blazers and Nuggets tied at 1 a piece
Hawks and Knicks have game 2 tomorrow night
The Grizz surprised and took game 1 in Utah
The 76ers are up 1-0 on the Harry Potters
The Bucks have taken total control against the Heat

Miami not as scary as some people were thinking and it took a 50 pt'er just to keep the Celtics from going down 3-0

Miami were bubble darlings. Herro was pegged a star and Bam was dissapointing after getting paid.

That knee isn’t going to get better in three days, he will be day to day for the remainder of the playoffs and will more than likely miss some more games due to discomfort and swelling.

It’s going to come down to how much pain he can deal with and he has shown that he has a problem with that.

They have no answer for Luka. I think the Mavs win it in Game 6.

The Suns took a very good player in Ayton number 1 in the draft and they got the third best player in the draft. Trae and Luka are 1a and 1b right now. Ayton has star potential, but idk if he has that superstar potential that the other two have. Trae and Luka could both legit win MVPs and win multiple champions.

We are going to get a Hawks/Mavs finals at some point. Bagley and Jackson have been good too but they are largely forgotten in that draft. Collin Sexton and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander have both been very good players too.

Man that 2018 draft was loaded. Really the only absolute dud taken in the top 10 picks was taken by our new friends, the Knicks with Kevin Knox. Wendell Carter and Mo Bamba haven't lit the world on fire, but they actually play. Can anyone think of one thing Knox did in this series? I can't

Grrrr… I’m switching between Sports Center and NBA Gametime and both are so far up Luka’s rearend, they are suggesting he’s the playoffs round 1 MVP.

WTH??? His team lost. They are out of the playoffs.  Meanwhile, Trae puts up 30+/10+ in 4 out of 6 games and whips the #1 and #2 overall league defenses.

These freaking people!

Saw some good points on twitter about it:

Trae doesn’t really whine much to the refs or anyone really. You’ll see Luka doing that. Luka has more Lebron in him in that sense where Trae is more of that villain/Kobe role.

Also, how much better does Luka really make his teammates? Sure he puts up all these stats, but are his teammates better because of it? Trae makes his teammates better just by the spacing and such on the floor. When he’s there, the team plays  better.

You wanna talk about empty stats like the media does, Luka’s stats are a lot emptier than Trae Imo

You know how this thing goes.

Player that isn't a media darling:

Empty stats. Can't win with him or it's the players around him on the team that makes him good.

Player that is a media darling:

He doesn't have a good team around him. He needs help and can't do it all by himself. His team is good because he "puts them on his back".

For real lol. Trae is becoming more liked in the media, but he’s still got that villain role on him. I love it

What I hate about the Luka convo, is that before this playoffs, when every pundit was on the Trae hate train, they would constantly and consistently **** on his defense.

But he's 6'1 185 in a league were the average height/weight is around 6'5 220. He physically, cannot guard most players lol

Luka, on the other, is JUST as bad as a defender as Trae. Even the defensive metrics/analytics will point this out to you. He has no lateral quickness whatsoever, no defensive fundamentals or hand discipline, and honestly, doesn't look like he bothers to try on defense. It's why the Clippers kept seeking him out on mismatches all series.

And he's 6'8 235! What the **** is his excuse? They don't even bring up his poor defense. It's horrible.
