What free agents do the Falcons go after now?

Now that we seemingly have some closure to the Julio situation, how much money do the Falcons have after the impending trade and signing of the draft class? Who do you think the Falcons and Fontenot sign to fortify the roster? I personally like the thought of Justin Houston/Jurrell Casey coming here on reasonable deals. What say you?

Man that works for me. Our front seven would much improved with those guys.
Really hate JJ won’t be here but I’ll be pulling for him to win a ring.

Unless Julio goes to Tampa Bay or Kansas City he would be better off staying in Atlanta. To win a championship you need to either be on Tom Brady's team or get lucky

No way they trade him to TB. I’m not sure he’d be better here opposed to GB LAR or a few more teams. There’s several teams interested in JJ that has a much better chance at winning a ring than the Falcons.

And there are far better W.R who can have better production than Julio

No disrespect to Julio. Hes a HOF.

But, for money he's getting paid...Falcons need to get more in return.

We cannot continue to hurt the franchise by having sacred cows.

Production Pays Always!

3 touchdowns and misses 7 games last year.

Glad, both parties are moving on.

I'm not sure. What do the Falcons save if they trade him? Also, is it possible they will still be asked to pay part of his 2021 salary as part of the deal? Does the NFL allow teams to negotiate that?

RB: see if any of them have something left in the tank at vet minimum

Duke Johnson

Alfred Morris

Leveon Bell

Adrian Peterson

Frank Gore

CB: Brian Poole would mean Oliver is probably gone

DL: Jurell Casey

OLB: Justin Houston

Lots of guys to look at with the added cash might get interesting

We picked up his 5th year option. That covers 2022.
Franchise him in 2023.
Let him walk in 2024 & get a comp pick. He'll be in his 30's at that point & it would be foolish to get into this same sort of scenario all over again,

I see Fontenot playing it this way.

amen!!!!!!!! I will be really disappointed if we dish out another 20m a year contract to a WR. Not worth it.

I never viewed Ridley as a $20M+ type of player. I always had him in the $12M-$15M range.

Amari just got a 20m average Contract. Go look at his stats and compare it to what Ridley did this year as the #1 for only half the season and with missing a game.

Ridley will get overpaid, hopefully not by us.
