I find this multi tracked cover of We're Gonna Grove from Royal Albert Hall fascinating.  Especially during the guitar solo, then the space the guitar leaves after the solo for the drummer and bass to shine.  dude that did the video even wore similar looking clothes to what was worn by the band during that show.

Best Guitarist- Who You Got?

For rock music I gotta go with Guthrie Govan, John 5 or buckethead

My mind is kind of blown that anyone else on here actually knows who this band is.

I had a friend at school from Cardiff, the same city in whales that they are from, who turned me onto them. One of the best proto-metal bands of all time. They're a mix of Sabbath, Zeppelin, and a splash of blue oyster cult.

Most people don't know that Metallica, sound garden, suicidal tendencies, Megadeth, and others have covered songs of theirs on their albums.

Yep, I'm a HUGE fan of late 60''s/early 70's photo-metal & their first 4 or 5 albums got played all the time in my house before I decided to sell off my record collection a few years ago.

Budgie has so many great songs... Crash Course in Brain Surgery, Napoleon Bona Part I & II, Whiskey River, Breadfan, Hot As A Docker's Armpit, In The Grip Of A Tyrefitter's Hand, Riding My Nightmare, You're The Biggest Thing Since Powdered Milk, In For The Kill, etc., etc., etc.

Budgie was/is better than led well skin who they have been called the Welsh version of. Zep was just far more marketable due to living in a more populated area and having an attractive frontman. I mean idc the biggest bands of all-time like Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Soundgarden, Megadeth covering Zepelin songs and Metallia released a double album of all covers.

I'm an 80s boy so Power Supply is my favorite Budgie album. Panzer Division destroyed is my favorite, although they have dozens of absolute killers as you mentioned.

Fun fact: Budgie was the first heavy rock band to play behind the iron curtain in Poland (1982) where they someone have a diehard fan base.

Top 5 band of all time for me! I've talked about them 10,000 times and have gotten around 9,995 who's?
