PFF Mock Draft Simulator - Unrealistic, but I'd Love it!

Recommended Posts

I won't detail the trades, but here are the results of the Mock Draft:

Future Picks Acquired via Trade Downs:

2022 Draft

  • 1st Rounders: PHI, IND, WAS – gives us four (4) 1st rounders in 2022
  • 2nd Rounders: PHI – gives us two (2) 2nd rounders in 2022

2023

  • 1st Rounders: PHI, PIT, BUF – gives us four (4) 1st rounders in 2023
  • 2nd Rounders: CHI – gives us two (2) 2nd rounders in 2023

Draft Picks:

1 (28): Jayson Oweh EDGE (can’t pass up athleticism on edge at this point)

2 (35): Teven Jenkins OT (too much value here, may play LG in 2021)

2 (37): Rondale Moore WR (electric slot WR and returner)

2 (48): Najee Harris RB (Our workhorse running back)

2 (55): Joseph Ossai EDGE (additional depth at edge for a solid rotation)

2 (61): Jamar Johnson S (starting FS with great ball skills)

3 (68): Davis Mills QB (backup QB with potential to become starter in 2023)

3 (68): Creed Humphrey OC (could start at OC in 2021, Hennessey becomes OC/OG backup)

3 (84): Jamin Davis LB (competition at LB, ST, could potentially allow Foye to slim down and play at SS)

3 (98): Tommy Tremble TE (Good athletic blocking TE with solid pass catching skills for 12 sets)

4 (112): Milton Williams DL (Maybe the most athletic base DE in draft)

5 (148): Aaron Banks OG (depth at OG and potential LG in 2022)

5 (153): Simi Fehoko WR (slots in behind Julio as big, athletic WR with potential)

6 (182): Olaijah Griffin CB (taller boundary CB for depth and competition)

6 (183): Mark Gilbert CB (tall CB with injury issues that push him down, compete for roster spot, ST)

6 (187): Rhamondre Stevenson RB (Big short yardage RB, ST guy)

7 (219): Khyiris Tonga DL (strong and stout interior DL, may compete with Senat for roster spot)

We would never draft 17 players.

We currently have 40 realistic players to make a 53 man roster...so while maybe not drafting 17 players is as realistic, I think we will easily end up with 10 players drafted, plus we will have UDFAs...Its the cheapest way for us to acquire players on our roster due to our cap situation and to have them under control for 4 years.

I don't know too much about the other players but I would love to see these guys in Falcons uniforms.

2 (48): Najee Harris RB (Our workhorse running back)

2 (61): Jamar Johnson S (starting FS with great ball skills)

3 (68): Davis Mills QB (backup QB with potential to become starter in 2023)

3 (68): Creed Humphrey OC

What is the point of doing a mock so completely unrealistic.

I like breaking the PFF draft simulator. My dynasty usually starts with Pitts, DeVonta Smith, Slater, Surtain/Horn/Farley, Moehrig, Ojulari/Rosseau, and maybe Etienne in the first round, and then see how things go from there.

So uhh....here's a more realistic 3 rounder I did on PFF.

Trade #4 to Detroit for #7, #41, and 2022 1st and 3rd

#7: Kyle Pitts - TE Florida

#35: Jayson Oweh - ED Penn State

#41: Asante Samuel Jr - CB Florida State

#68: Ar'Darius Washington - S TCU

FWIW, I don't think the Bengals pass up on Pitts and I don't think ASJ gets out of the 1st. But, they were there when I picked in the simulator so, there ya have it.

Just keep going... I'm sure eventually you can have the entire 2024 draft class... that will make us awesome... Entire draft class competing for 53 roster spots.

Man we would win defensive and offensive rookie of the year! Bro, I'm  so excited to have an entire team full of rookies playing in the NFL.

/p

FWIW, I fully expect a Chase reunion with Burrow if they have the opportunity.
