It was tied at 3 at of 9 in that one. Diamondbacks and Rockies are currently tied at 7 in the 13th. It was tied at 5 at the end of 9 in that one. Diamondbacks beat the Rockies 10-8 in 13 innings after the game was tied at 5 at the end of 9. Diamondbacks pitcher Matt Peacock became the first pitcher since 1945 to make his MLB debut in extra innings of a game, get the win and record a hit. He also scored a run. jidady
We're watching the Cardinals game, which is completely settled. It's 7-0 in the 9th. A hitter comes up and hits the ball right at the second baseman...BUT! St. Louis has done a shift and has nobody on defense between first and second base. So, it's a single. The camera catches the pitcher, Hicks, just shooting daggers into the dugout with his eyes. It was priceless.

AUTiger7222
That was weird. Diamondbacks put in Caleb Smith out of the bullpen and before he was allowed to begin his outing he was forced to change gloves by the umpires. He had on a grayish looking glove and was forced to change it.
AUTiger7222
MLB announced that the Mets/Nationals will play doubleheaders on June 19th and September 4th and play on June 28th, which was supposed to be a mutual off day, to make up for the 3 games that were postponed to open the season. There was no place for him on the roster and his play and average have been declining steadily over the last several years. If you want someone off your team bad enough, sometimes you have to make decisions that are costly. The only thing that says to me they must've seen something in one of the two prospects. Quick story: The Rangers in 2000 traded Esteban Loaiza to the Blue Jays for Darin Cubillan and PLAYER TO BE NAMED. on that player to be named list was Michael Young and Robinson Cano. They chose Young over Cano. Both potential HOFers. My point is they weren't so highly rated then, so you really never know what you might get in a player. Shelling out $12 million? Do the Rangers know something we don't know? Maybe? You got your fact wrong. Robinson Cano signed the Yankees as an amateur free agent and has never been a member of the Blue Jays. Unknøwn
Mets just won on a walkoff HBP against Miami. Conforto threw his elbow out and it barely nicked his guard and went into the catchers glove. The pitch was literally a strike and Conforto thrust his elbow out into it. Umpires let it stand. Even the Mets broadcasters were upset they let it stand.
