The Cardinals have won 14 straight games to reach 85 wins and take control of the 2nd WC spot in the NL. But what's remarkable about their run is on September 7th they were 69-68. They're now 85-69. Absolutely incredible turnaround. ATL Fan in the DMV

AUTiger7222
If you're a Mariners fan you've got to be extremely frustrated. They haven't made the playoffs since 2001 but won plenty of games in some of the years since but no playoffs. 2002 - 93 2003 - 93 2007 - 88 2009 - 85 2014 - 87 2016 - 86 2018 - 89 2021 - 85 But no playoffs. Unknøwn
Rays are just ridiculous. They're in line to win the championship at every single level but AA. AUTiger7222

AUTiger7222
The Rays win today was their 97th this year. That ties their franchise record for wins in a season set in 2008. They've got 6 games left to set a new franchise record for wins in a season.

Unknøwn
The 2021 Mets are history making. They become the first team in MLB history to spend as many as 103 days in first place and finish with a losing record. Unknøwn
Seems like Ohtani isn't too happy with the Angels. When asked about his future with them he said loved the fans and the atmosphere but more than anything he wants to win. He ended by saying "I'll leave it at that". Ohtani is a free agent after 2023. tl;dr
I think the Reds and Phillies have been eliminated from WC contention now. Reds eliminated all together, and Philly still has a shot, but it’s getting smaller everyday

So it is going to be either LA of SF vs the cards. tl;dr

jidady
I rarely give this stuff oxygen, but when was the last time that Padres troll posted? The karmic retribution his team faced is hysterical.
