Just to clarify about love for the Falcons

Recommended Posts

I have been warned about my attitude towards Matt Ryan and my recent posts and threads.  Deep down in my heart, I would love to see what this team would look like under a guy like Trey Lance.  I saw some footage of Chris Redman looking almost dominate in 2009 when Ryan was hurt.  If Chris Redman can look good, imagine what Trey Lance could look.

In reality, Matt Ryan has had his contract restructured for the 4th or 5th time who knows, and he is here to stay.  It would be foolish of me to rant and go crazy about wanting to replace Matt Ryan when he is obviously going to be here for another 2 years.

I made a real bad attempt at taking the high road and saying things like Lee Smith would have Kyle Pitts sit under him for a year to learn the game.  I said things like Copeland fixed our pass rush problems so we don't need to worry about that anymore.  I even said Harris and TJ Green would be the twin towers at safety.

I will stand by this team no matter what they do.  If Matt Ryan is the best option for them for the next 3 years, than so be it.  If we have to sign unknown free agents to fill in the holes, than so be it.

It shouldn't matter that much who our LG is but its like EVERY single position for the Falcons is the most crucial one.  I look at the Bucs in the playoffs and they had a guy name Stinnie take over the right guard spot and didn't miss a beat.

I won't be doing the ridiculous posts anymore.  I will try to be as positive as I can.  Its very hard to be positive after the 3 seasons we have had but I am going to give this new regime a real chance.

I would like to see this team build its own identity rather than copy cat the super bowl winner of every year.  Only time will tell.  Lets go Falcons.

You are completely missing the point. We aren’t asking you to be more “positive.” We are asking you to stop posting nonsense and dribble

Its apparent he's had conversations with mods.....the fact that he would even try to air that **** out....solidifies my thoughts

I love how when people are held accountable on here, they love to openly share that they were warned because they “don’t like Ryan”.

So silly

If they thought that what they were saying/doing was wrong, they wouldn't have needed accountability to begin with

It's far easier to just decide they're being persecuted for having a different opinion, than to look at themselves

This is, unfortunately, often true in real life as well
