Some get it, some don’t.

And Brian clearly don’t get it

If anybody understands the value of a QB, it's Brian Billick.

He knew to replace Trent Dilfer right after winning the SB.

Still to this day, Dilfer is only starting QB of a SB winning team to not return the following year.

.....that didn't retire lol.

Brian Billick also use to be critical of Ryan if I’m not mistaken

Dominant lines.  Dominant run game.  Dominant defense.  Yeah, I think Billick gets it.

Billick gave plenty of praise and was critical of Ryan too. He is not one of those politically correct guys, says like he sees it. Good or bad. I may not have agreed with him but his breakdowns on NFL.com used to be very good.

Billick has also praised Ryan also. Especially when he was on NFL Playbook on NFL Network.

Billick's brother in-law is also former Falcons HC Mike Smith.

I still remember Billick doing the Bears game in 2008. Jason Elam missed the FG and put him in outhouse and then to penthouse after Matt Ryan’s throw with seconds remaining. He was better in game color guy than most now.

Ding Ding Ding Ding !! We have a Winner!!!!  What I've said from day one of this offseason.  All you have to do is check my  last Mock and the only one I'm going to make..  No way should we draft a QB .. To me,, that's the last position they would draft.. WE only need a good solid Vet backup QB .. that's it.. and we can save a lot of money by doing so.

Didn't you change the first pick of your only last draft?

They get it... I don’t blame the Falcons FO for talking like we could draft a QB at 4 but when it comes down to draft night that should be the last position they take at 4.  Trade down and if you can’t you take the highest guy on your board that is not a QB.

Ok ,, I just thought of one of the best jokes I've ever heard of because of what someone said in this thread,, here it is..  ( There was a bunch of inmates in a Federal Prison.. And every Friday night they would have joke night.. But they only had one joke book ,, So they used this book and they knew the jokes so well, that they would just give the page number of that joke,, One would stand up and say.. 42 !  And the whole crowd started rolling and Ha Ha ing . Another one stood up and said 26 ! Man the crowd went nuts laughing .. Then the next man stood up and said.. 15,, But nobody even hinted a sound with a plain look on their faces.. ,, The man set down feeling like a failure,, So He ask his buddy,, Hey man , why did no one laugh at my joke ??  His friend looked back at him and said,, Well, You know how it is.. Some people can tell Jokes , and some can't ....
