At what point do we make a decision about Bryse Wilson and Kyle Wright? I would think we've got to be getting close to that point, especially with a new influx of pitchers who shouldn't take long to start knocking on the door.

Gotta be getting close.

Imo they should both be brought up and give a couple starts before the deadline and hope they either up their trade value or are guys to use moving forward.

Especially if Anderson goes on IL.

I doubt 2 or 3 starts are gonna do much to their value at this point. I still like Wilson’s potential as a bullpen arm. He’s a 2 pitch pitcher and it’s hard to make it as a starter that way but that’s all you need in the bullpen.

I was actually thinking they might give Touki a shot if Anderson is IL bound

He's starting for Gwinnett tonight. He threw 81 pitches last time out, so unless something bad happens I expect this to be his last rehab outing.

Any talk of making them RP and see how they do.

Was asking that question  because some people think that those two pitchers could be used as trade pieces in the future if they still struggle to make the starting rotation.

I just think it’s time for them to **** or get off the pot. They’ve been at Gwinnett forever (in baseball years) and well, they can’t stay there forever.

Bryse Wilson has made 33 starts at AAA. Wright has made 35. They've been there for essentially the equivalent of one full season each.

Ok, well I guess it seems like it's been longer for them because it's been spread out over several years. They should be given 20-30 starts there in 1 season instead of this jumping up and down. I'm not an expert on player development but constant jumping up and down can't be good for their confidence and development.

I’m with you. I thought they had more games in the minors. I don’t think it would hurt their development if they’re told that they would be making spot starts in MLB. I think it would help them. They make the spot start and then can go back to the minors and work on what went wrong.

I think the fact that Covid took a minor league year away really makes it feel much longer

Muller and Wilson piggybacked tonight's Gwinnett game in Charlotte. Muller went 4 scoreless innings, Wilson went 5 scoreless.

Guessing one will pitch on Monday, the other on Tuesday.

Really feel both can be significant for us in the long haul. Wilson has had his "struggles" in the majors, but I feel like he is right there. It's not like with Wright where you feel defeated before the game even starts

I still think long-term Wilson's best in the bullpen.
