Cheers!  Pandemic’s taught me 1 thing, day drinking rocks!

And Go Falcons!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to be in jobs that allow copious teleworking.

Our cocktail of choice is the Whiskey Romaine....

Whiskey glass, your level of ice.

Whiskey, half the glass.  Or, to your level.

Fill with Ginger Ale.  Stir.  Add a couple of good shakes of bitters.

😏

I usually add a splash of lemon juice to my whiskey/ginger ale cocktail, but if not, that would be my drink of choice. I love tamarind. I discovered bitters in Australia and been hooked since. 👌👍

JMO but spiced rum and ginger ale would be the way I went with that one - but then again, I'm a bourbon on the rocks guy.

I'm honesy pretty new to bitters.  It adds a nice herbal,  earthy flavor.  And lemon juice brightens up any drink.  I really like a fresh squeezed lemon in a vodka cocktail.

I've had some discussions with coworkers that developed an affinity to day drinking.  Our jobs are frivolous in the grand scheme, when I can attend meetings, answer emails, and complete 99.5% of my work without leaving the comfort of my home and still be paid well enough to basically day drink.  I've saved so much money from not having to commute, clothing expense, and every other expense tied to semi corporate life.  Its nuts.

I've been on a Sotol journey lately but I'm always up for whiskey.  (not sure if Sotol is available in Atlanta, it's a southwest thing)

I've got everything I need to make this.  So hats off to you!  This is a winning combination, something, football, something.

I have always worked from home with Travel sprinkled in every few weeks. Covid made no difference to me. Traveling sucks right now though.
