Clearly that td is Matt Ryan's fault

Thread about two championship games that the Falcons are not playing in. Turns into an anti-Ryan thread for no reason.

No wonder the country is so depressed. Every tv show is about hunting serial killers, terminally ill hospital patients or the apocalypse.   Whatever happened to just making something fun to watch with

The fact you even listed that game shows that you're not interested in being honest and objective. That's why I didn't even bother addressing the other games you listed.

C'mon now. You wanna talk about objectivity? You are about the least objective person on this board when it comes to anything and everything Matt Ryan. For **** sake, you come into threads, like this one, in which nobody is mentioning Matt and start making random comments about him. You feel this creepy need to defend him when nobody is even talking about him. That's how this whole exchange has started, because you want to tie everything else going on around the NFL to Matt.

Not blaming the Lions loss on Matt by any stretch, In fact the only games I put squarely on Matt's shoulders are the Saints, Chargers and Panthers games. But, if you put that game on the defense, you are no different than the people that put the super bowl loss squarely on Matt for taking the sack.

That defense went out and held a team to 16 points for 59 minutes of the game. Our offense could only muster a measly 14 points up to then, and had to give the ball back after Gurley accidentally scored a TD (LMAO). Defense should have never been on the field to blow the game. Anyone saying otherwise is crazy.

Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Rodgers is now 1-4 in NFC Championship games, yikes. The Packers may rule the NFC North year after year but they find a way to cough it up in the divisional round or NFC championship year after year.

Honestly I don't trust Mahomes over Brady. The only time he won against a Tom Brady team is because the refs overturned an obvious TD. Otherwise he'd be 0-3 against Brady.

Brady teams just almost always find a way. They refuse to let that man lose.

Mahomes doesn’t play Brady. He plays against the Bucs defense. And if it wasn’t for Dee Ford lining up offsides, Brady wouldn’t have went to the Super Bowl that year. But it is what it is

Ryan also played like an NAIA quarterback against the Bears.

Truth is, some of these guys seem to be Ryan fans and not necessarily fans of the team and its interest.

what a joke of a response, you obviously didn't see or don't want to admit the penalties they let go all game long against #23 for defensive holding, that would have kept drives going. Now add in that late flag for the DPI at the end, they let a clear hold on the offense go too. No, they wanted Brady to win

I watched the entire game. Yes, the Bucs got away with several defensive holds including the one by #23 on that interception. But that did not lose the game for the Packers. The refs didn't tell the Packers to give up a bomb for a TD right before halftime. The refs didn't tell the Packers to fumble the opening play of the 2nd half and allow the Bucs to recover inside the 10 to set up an easy TD. That's a 14 point swing. The game was decided by 5 points. You also didn't mention #71 for the Packers getting away with a clear hold on the play that Rodgers should have ran in for a touchdown. Or the other plays on that drive that they allowed the Packers to hold on. The refs are not the reason the Packers lost. This entire message board wanted the Bucs to lose cause "DiViSiOnAl RiVaL Bs" and can't be objective to see that the refs aren't the reason the Packers lost. The Packers lost fair and square. End of story.

We are about to witness the flaw in a Koetter/Arians system.  It rarely flourishes in a 4 minute offense.  It creates lots of highlight reel plays, but drive to drive it’s far  too inconsistent.  No risk it no biscuit philosophy is not idea for playoff football IMO
