The Don™ 4,821
I like the Pees hire. Allows Smith to focus mostly on the offense and other HC responsibilities. I wanted us to get a vet DC that can handle the defense with little interference from the HC. RetroRoq, ratesforless, atlvicktim08 and 8 others
Pacific_Falcon 4,641
I forget is this guy usually reliable? I sometimes struggle to keep the hacks like LaDipazz etc. vs. the credible ones straight. PokerSteve

Absolute 898
Excellent DC hire! And Arthur gets to groom Ragone for HC jobs with other teams IMO. Sportsman2593
PointSwayzee 579
Really good with Pees hire, think it is exactly what Smith needs. First move I have really gotten behind in a while regarding a coordinator. PokerSteve, Absolute, booty-mane and 2 others
Artys Arryn 1,624
Ragone got Mitch selected to a Pro Bowl and an NVP. I'm with it. Herr Doktor, FalconTough, DirtyBird2 and 1 other 3

FalconFanSince1969 14,391
Is pees strictly a 3-4 guy?
TheHeartless 480
I like Pees, he's 71 though I can't imagine he'll be sticking around more than two or three seasons here. Chitown2ATL_Falcon
Friendly Folk 1,480
And of course we all know CAS will be the architect of the offense and play caller, meaning Ragone will have input and will be mentored. PokerSteve, Chitown2ATL_Falcon, Expert Poster and 1 other

Pretty much but the fronts that he tends to use (at least the ones he used with Vrabel) don’t function that much differently than what we’ve been doing the past year or two. The one thing I’m not too in love with in his scheme is the reading the line is asked to do in sets. Ergo Proxy
Friendly Folk 1,480
By the way, what are we gonna call our new coach so as not to confuse him with other Falcon icons? Arthur and Smitty are the obvious confusions. Arty? Or AS?

I know traditionally that your ilb in a 3-4 is bigger than deebo and more of a thumper and that your olbs are typically 6'5'' guys who can do it all really. If we make this switch tho I'd love to see us being in zaven collins somehow.
