I’m guessing this guy’s bail hearing will be very short.

A man who helped drag a police officer down the U.S. Capitol steps tried to flee to Switzerland after the day of the siege and then, in what authorities called a different type of flight effort, attempted suicide, prosecutors told a judge on Friday.

Jeffrey Patrick Sabol, a 51-year-old divorced geophysicist with three children, has not been charged with assault but rather under a civil disorder statute barring any effort to “obstruct, impede, or interfere” law enforcement.

(snip)

Assistant U.S. Attorney Benjamin Gianforti claimed that Sabol was caught on tape by the Washington Post helping a mob drag an officer down the Capitol steps and bought a ticket to Zurich, Switzerland, a country without an extradition treaty to the United States.

I still can't get over the fact that Harris won like Zero primaries but the VP position elevates her and legitimizes her with real power. Thank God Bernie at least has a Senate seat and is supposed to get a chairmanship.

How many primaries did Biden win in 2008.

It's not an apples to apples comparison though. Biden had inroads on the Republican side and was a Big Dog in the senate. He already had some "power" behind him.

When you limit yourself to Woman+POC, there aren't going to be many options, especially the higher you go in government.

Y’all Chevrolet done bumped they heads.

they are trying to charge $15/month for mobile remote start, checking fuel levels and tire pressure, and setting radio stations... WTH is wrong with these people?!

Cars have become more reliable and are lasting longer. A car lasting 200k+ miles is no longer a big deal.  The subscription stuff will get bigger as time goes on. BMW tried a car subscription service.

They aren’t providing a service worth $15 though.  They have to do more than just check basic current status of the vehicle.  I’d maybe give them $2 for that, but that’s about it.  Maybe if they provided really minute details or something along those lines.

we will need to pay a fee to access our cars in the future :(

So how much do you think he spent on all the hardware & accessories if he bought it legit and at fair market prices?

Anywhere between $10,000 - $30,000 ?

i don't know, it could be a bunch of cheapo parts-bin stuff. really depends. could be like $4k for the lot. it could also be a lot more if the rifles are from expensive manufacturers.
