EpicBird 508
Definitely an air of intelligence and thoughtfulness that was lacking with DQ - who is a good guy but was light on the accountability and adaptability qualities. That doesn’t look like it’ll be an issue with AS. Dirtybird56, Herr Doktor and HASHBROWN3

I'm assuming LaFluer used Shanny's terminology in TEN, but I haven't heard any confirmation if Arthur also used this or not. Just have seen growing pains in this area in the past. He also said he understands that calling the plays does not mean he is relegating any part of the team, said his #1 job is coaching the whole team. Was pressed if calling plays can get in the way of coaching and has said there is a lot of examples of coaches thriving doing both. PuppyMonster 268
The "accountability" was pretty pointed. I guess he wasn't impressed by some of our bigger contracts. Also thought it was interesting he called Lindstrom out along with Julio, Ryan and Grady. Herr Doktor

Really think they go QB at #4 if Wilson or Fields is there. Well, he really can't say anything until they hire TF, and those 2 can analyze the roster, work together to see what direction they need to go, etc. Dr Long Shot

His last coached game showed very little adaptability. so far I think he’s said “adapt” about 20 times. Yeah... he talked about it but in 2 of the last 3 game we did not see that. He did not adjust at all as the Packers went up and down the field on them....and they lost by 4 tds And when the Ravens were not fooled by anything that he was doing he could not counter.... He was lucky that the Ravens offense was so meh because that could have been a blow out.

Having build the entire team around the offense it was always dumb to choose a defensive head coach instead of an offensive one. falcons007 22,597
The guy from 92.9 asked an indirect question on rebuild and totally new offensive players(hint/hint new QB and noJulio). AS was like I will adapt the scheme to players. Ofcourse the roster can change but it has to play to strengths. Herr Doktor
