FalconsIn2012 35,314
Is anyone a capable mind reader? I suspect this means his end of season interviews went well, but with new regime his status is uncertain. Regardless, I love ya Neal. PriMeTiiMe 7,082
I think we should cut Rico and Re-sign Neal for a short team 2-3 year deal. I don't like the idea of going into 2021 with 2 brand new safeties. Neal played better and better as the year went on. Flyin' In DC 2,086
Isn't his contract up? His status as a Falcon is up in the air. Can they let him know if the new GM has plans to keep him yet?
Herr Doktor 4,453
That tweet is encouraging, and realistic. The entire team knows change is coming. Many simple will play elsewhere next year. Others may retire.

Fotenot has never taken anything from the falcons or quinn during his time with the saints. Fotenot going to draft and bring in veteran safeties

BirdGangATL 775
Neal pre injury was a superstar, post injury Neal is meh, if he resigns for cheap, cool, but if he leaves, it’s whatever. Take Rico and Kazee with u too.
Herr Doktor 4,453
Is he worth a "Falcons for Life" contract? I doubt it. He will most assuredly rather test the waters. SS don't grow on trees, and the Cowboys have a large defensive contingent in the cowboys staff now. Flyin' In DC
Flyin' In DC 2,086
I would like Neal to stay. I agree that he does not deserve a monster contract but his play the last half of the season deserves another chance.

Starting from scratch at safety would be a challenge in our current situation. Perhaps Mr. Fontenot and our new coaches will have a better idea. Flyin' In DC

I don't think this is team is too far away from being pretty good. I think leadership has mismanaged the talent that is here Herr Doktor and rugger8

TheHeartless 409
Don't think there's anything to mind read. Up to the new GM if he stays around, I'm sure someone will pick him up in FA. Whatever the outcome may be he feels it'll all work out for the best in the end. Herr Doktor

Norwood all the way! 739
I wouldn't mind keeping him. Depending on what kind of defense we run, he could be useful still at a decent price.

marvinthemartian 4,678
I hope we keep him and use him as a hybrid LB/Edge Pass Rush/cover backs and tight ends out of the backfield and across the middle guy. You have to put him in the best spot to maximize his strengths and minimize his weaknesses. This move would accomplish that.
