Ryan 35 tds 7 int 4,924 yards

Year 2 in Sark’s offense, then we let Sark go and DK came in and Ryan has regressed.  Now had we kept sark, would we be better off?

I feel like Ryan never has an OC to help him out more than 2-3 years (either they get a head coaching job or get fired)  I’m sure he would of been close to his mvp form but our defense will always continue to struggle.

Also, if SF or Indy makes a play for Ryan, I can see him winning there.

Yeah...if you see those inflated numbers like that seasonally, it could mean that your team is constantly behind and in most cases, stinks.

Sounds like your trash opinions

Matt is generally very consistent. His int numbers fluctuate, usually in line with how good or bad our offensive line performs, and how committed we stay to a competent run game.

Outside of 2015, his most INTs came from throwing MORE with Dirk and no run game. A vertical, no YAC offense...simply throwing more risky passes by design of the offense without a run game does that.

Falcons success is linked to a successful run game. We are not like the Cheifs who can rely on their QB to win games through the air.

Ryan is good, just not elite like Mahomes, Rodgers, Wilson, or Brady.

Cheifs are 15th in rushing yards yards, packers are 8th, Seattle 11th. Its hard on any QB without a run game.

45% of Ryan’s INT’s have come in just 5 seasons with Dirk

48% of Ryan’s losses have come in 5 seasons with Dirk

Last 4 years with Dirk we average 5.75 wins and 10.25 losses

But the question is do you believe Ryan is done? Is it really worth sacrificing 2021 already just because Blank wasted 2 years holding onto DQ instead of firing him after 2018 or 2019's 1-7 start;

He actually was DC of a worse defense than 2018's injury riddled show. Marquand and Sark were scapegoats for a coach that had an offensive coach buy him time from the SB run.

His defense to start last year and the downgrade at OC; which clearly derailed the offense further by trying to be a vertical pass team without a pass blocking line the caliber of GB...yet no run game or PA?

You better be SURE the QB is the one to avoid investing anything more into the current QB. Even the Packers today are likely as good as they are because of year 2 in the same system Ryan became MVP in...RATHER than this narrative it's because of drafting Love. Imagine them with another defensive pick or weapon for the offense instead of Love on the bench.

Agreed it's hard on the QB without a run game. Our offense was built to pass the ball. We invested in finesse Olinemen who are better pass blockers than run blockers. Invested first and 2nd round picks in WRs and TEs. Brought in a proficient pass catching running back.

So we should be winning games by passing the ball. Formula obviously didn't work, hence Dimitroff fired.

Point is, Ryan must be at MVP level for this team to have a chance. Just sucks seeing other QBs do more with less.

Unfortunately we have bigger problems than Ryan, but he's starting to fall into mediocrity.

Didn't fit the narrative. I wish folks would realize this isn't NBA. We're not a superstar away from dominance. This is a team sport. No one single player is going to walk into flowery branch and turn this team into the Patriots. Teams are winning. Teams are going to the playoffs

Sark was definitely not “horrible.” But you do have a point that he looks elite compared to Koetter lol

Lol nah man He was pretty bad. I guess you don’t remember the Philly playoff game?
