A former head coach that teams are reportedly interested in

No.  Marvin Lewis is NOT what this team needs.   He is too much like Quinn in my opinion.  He is more of a "stabilizing force" than someone who is going to come in and really make changes to the culture.  We need fresh, new ideas, not old tired ones.

Read this article about Lewis' tenure with Cinncy and tell me it doesn't sound all the world like Quinn's tenure with the Falcons:  https://www.cincyjungle.com/2019/1/13/18172105/bengals-marvin-lewis-16-years-fired-cincinnati-football-seasons-nfl-news

"Yes, Lewis changed the culture in Cincinnati, but that ended up being his downfall. He led the Bengals to a 12-4 season in 2015—the best record the Bengals have had since 1988..... But he elevated them too high for his own good. He changed the level of expectation and then failed to reach it later in his career.... he could never live up to the highest of standards that he set for himself."

He’s been successful as a HC, in general.

Everybody is willing to jump blindly off a cliff to grab any number of guys who have never won a single pro game in their lives, but would casually cast aside a man who has won 131 pro games as a head coach, in what was, during that time, probably the hardest division to win in the AFC North.

I’m not saying hire the guy, but c’mon.

Marvin Lewis never won a single playoff game in 16 years as HC of the Bengals.

Even Quinn found his way to some postseason wins in just his 2nd and 3rd years.

131 regular season wins means nothing with that 0-7 postseason record.

Lewis isn't an awful coach, he's just not good when it really matters.
