Man, seeing that hand work from Tuioti-Mariner has me excited. Glad to see this dude finally getting some playing time. That sack, fumble and recovery was a thing of beauty.

It’s all on coaching these guys are basically late round draft picks journeymen in Means case and UDFA in JTMs case.What your seeing is improvement because of coaching it’s good to see.From a position we need help in if these guys can continue to improve throw in Davidson in the mix and the Falcons finally could have a decent defensive front across the board.

Love that cross-chop by Means (oops didn’t mean Means). That used to be the Clayborn special.

Both these guys, Mariner and Means, look like different players when they kick out to that wide 9 alignment.

He and Cominsky are what you hope you find with day 3 Picks to UDFA round picks (I know Tui was a UDFA) .... Find guys with talent that you can develop into contributors

That's what's so frustrating about this season. Defense is improving but it's a long shot to make the playoffs.

Either way great to see improvement.

Yep. And I place that on DK’s shoulders. The defense played well enough to beat the saints. The offense looked they didn’t even try. DK has to get creative and run a lot of blitz beaters and crossers because the saints will once again be very aggressive. It’s who they are. Counter that instead of the long slow developing plays. Especially if Julio and rid aren’t full strength.

Defense definitely playing better - Comminskey and Tuioti-Mariner probably never stars but you need guys like this that hustle and work.   You get enough of these type guys to play significant downs and mix w/ your stars - then you gotta defense.

Get the trash like Takk and Vic and take it to the curb.
