jlrfalcon 4,061
What would you consider to be positive about the Falcons at present? On the negative side, they are coming off one of their worst games in awhile, they have a lot of uncertainty with their coaching/GM future, they have a lot of uncertainties with the current roster, and they are looking at even a 6-0 finish to the season unlikely to get them into the playoffs. However, if one had to promote the Falcons at present (maybe to a new resident of Atlanta thinking about becoming a fan?), what could be said positive about them right now? Immediate thoughts: 1) A long-time, durable QB who has won MVP in the past 2) A great WR corps including Julio, Ridley, Gage, Zaccheaus 3) A long-time great RB and UGA alumni in Gurley 4) A top of the NFL DL named Jarrett 5) Two speedy LB's in Foye and Debo 6) A reliable kicker named Koo 7) A relatively new and excellent design home stadium with retractable roof 8 ) Maybe a poor season this year but high draft pick coming for 2021? 9) Possibly top-notch HC and/or GM talent coming at end of this year 10) A single owner clearly interested in the team as opposed to a corporation Does your negative feelings about the Falcons exceed your positive feelings at present? egoprime II and Hurry_Up_And_Buy 1
Killing Floor 623
I love the White kits. And no, I love the Falcons whether they win or lose. They're the team I cheer for. But I would prefer more W than L. Not giving up on the Falcons since 1972. Edited November 23, 2020 by Killing Floor RetroRoq

opensource001 1,053
I'm positive the Falcons are going to find some way to lose that will make me stop and think "Even if you were actively trying to ish the bed that should be impossible!"
marvinthemartian 4,520
I am positive we will win exactly one game too many to get the draft pick that we need and will be stuck wondering “what could have been” for years to come. Atl Falcon 3,746
The most positive thing for me is I had an opt out on my four season tickets due to COVID and didn’t have to pay a shiet load of money to watch this sorry team in person. Plus I saved a 400 mile round trip x 8 this year and didn’t have to pout all the way back to the Hotel after the games. I’m excited about Koo Foye Terrell and M Walker. Its sucked being a Falcons these last three yrs. RetroRoq and egoprime II
Francis York Morgan 24,610
Get guys on the edge and at safety (easier said than done) and this team has all that need to make a run (player-wise). That can be used to say Dimi didn't need to go, but considering he didn't adequately address either spot in 12 years I'm thrilled. egoprime II, Atl Falcon and Fernando C.

falconsd56 24,846
I like our front 7's physicality. We need another true edge rusher but in terms of ability to hold the point of attack and just being physical they have done a good job. I also like our corners...which seems strange considering how shoddy the pass defense has been at times but all of them have shown to be aggressive and physical. If we can get a true wipe out safety and another legit edge rusher then the defense has the ability to be a pretty high ranking defense. quickzero

Exactly- guys on the edge was impossible with TD.... not much better at safety. With that said this team is close to having the final pieces of the puzzle and needs to start with the right GM and HC

since68andcounting 3,627
I'm trying to think of any. Mostly I'm coming up blank. I guess Foye's emergence and Grady's consistent play. Maybe a little bit that AJ hasn't looked terrible. I see NOTHING positive about the Offense. NOTHING. Julio is continuing to be less effective due to injury. Matt is running out of time (career wise AND on every play). Hurst is most definitely a step down from Hooper. The "rebuilt" stellar prima donna first round OL is awful. Heck, they can't even RUN BLOCK. It's becoming obvious why the Rams let Gurley go. And I've seen NO ONE look anywhere close to how Freeman looked at his best.
