Ghosts of Glanville 3,387
“Ryan holds the ball too long” anyone pause and think that might be due to running a 4 verts offense???
Jpg428gggg 1,669
Outdated 4 verts offense leads to this. Saints stacked the line of scrimmage and dared the Falcons to beat them deep. Our receivers got bullied at the line of scrimmage and our offensive line was pushed around all game. Did Ryan miss some throws? Of course he did but Jesus Christ that was a beat down. He is going to be sore tomorrow. The Saints set the tone early. They pushed us around all game. That’s a good defense over there. Just shows that you can still build a good defense when you spend most of your cap on offense. I still remember a back up player bullying Matthew’s right into Ryan. For someone as talented as Matthew’s, he is way too inconsistent. Ghosts of Glanville

Killing Floor 877
Ryan has a great arm. He didn't have a great game today. You can forgive a rough game in anybody. My chief issue is that when there is NOBODY between the hashes maybe just hustle a little, it won't kill you. You can slide and if they touch you it's 15 yards for free. No reason not to GO GAS in a must-win game. Records or fan love or whatever, Ryan didn't earn his salary today. But he has been stepping up lately more than previously so there's hope. What we really need is a new system and a complete overhaul of the staff and a HC with the huevos to bench a player (even a QB) who gives up in the middle of a game. Maybe if Ryan goes down the (I can't ever beat the Saints) rabbit hole again a few possessions watching a backup play his snaps would motivate him. When Matty wants to win he's very hard to stop. He didn't give a crap today. Today Edited November 23, 2020 by Killing Floor My auto spell is hilarious

One day you guys will remember what Matt Ryan accomplished for the Falcons- always barking with stupid commentary and never thankful. He had a bad game because the OL and receivers we’re not open. And No Julio- Matt Ryan never does well without Julio. The vertical game was deeply impacted without Julio. Plus, kudos to the Saints front 4 for causing havoc for the OL. The pocket kept on collapsing and Matt Ryan had less space to maneuver.

Give me a break... what we need is an oline... he gets a nanosecond to throw the ball to recieving corps that have not even had time to shake a defender and run the route. What you think Matty should do the blocking too. 8 sacks... he got the living daylight beat outta him and your calling him timid? Get real. Your lucky hebcould stand up and keep playing. Matt is not the problem. The oline that cannot block a tball team is the problem. And we have a pretty crappy defense... could not cover a reciever if they were duct taped to them. But as always... y'all call to get rid of Matt.... just stop the nonsense.

It's ridiculous the way this place acts. When there's no one to throw to and you can't throw it away because you'll get a penalty you have no choice but to take a sack. Anyone that understands football knows this. Realsurfin

Julio didn't play after the first series of the game and if you watched the other games this year that Julio didn't play in you shouldn't have been surprised that the offense came to a dead stop without him on the field. This offense runs through Julio. Always has. When he's not out there it doesn't work. Ridley only gets the numbers he does because of Julio. Ridley isn't good enough to draw coverage his way and open up other guys the way Julio does when he's on the field. Mr.Blank

shango 33
yea ryan had pressure to deal with but they wasnt all jail breaks he had the ball in his hands at least 5 seconds.todays qb buys time on some of those plays.on guy breaks up the middle and we reduced t o curdling up & taking a sack.there is no such thing as always having a perfect pocket in the nfl anymore. also it look like our receievers werent open or NO was just sitting on all the shourt routes b/c we definitely cant throw down the field or our playbook is just too vanilla. it still was unacceptable to be outplayed like that by saints backup qb & not score a touchdown.Matt ryan need to be over somebodies boy scout troop not somebodies football team.
