At worse, even if you blew one of the 95% plus games, we should be 3-4. The team is mediocre and that is what the record will show, this team still in that 7-9 to 9-7 at best range of record. It pains me to admit it since I have been on the positive side hoping things will improve but it does not seems like it and doing a complete overhaul may be the only way at this point.

And so the Lions become the newest "Team of Destiny" annointed off of an improbable win (by normal NFL standards) over the Atlanta Falcons.

BTW how are the last two  'annointed' teams,  Dallas and Chicago, doing.........?

Bears are 5-2

Cowboys are 2-5 and lost Dak for the season.

You said it yourself “improbable win by normal NFL standards”. Yes I agree with that. However, in terms of the Falcons, this is a standard operating procedure. Our S.O.P. is to $hit the bed.

So the Bears and Cowboys are a combined, what.... 2-5 since beating the Falcons?

It's getting to the point where beating the Falcons should not count as a 'total' win.  More like a tie....🙄

Pretty much. We get beat by bottom feeding teams with the he exception of a few.

Bears is the only exception. They beat the Bucs. Cowboys woes were apparent before the Dak injury. McCarthy is already on the hot seat. Reports are that the locker room doesn’t have faith in him.

The Falcons are now a “Gimme” game. It’s the game that teams like forward to because it’s an easy day. It’s the game that prognosticators makes as wins for the other team. Tie would be generous.
