FalconofShadows 1,338
And this team goes 9-7 and losses a wildcard game close and Blank hires him as HC. Do you guys think Koetter and Ulbrich stay or are let go in a complete changeover in staff for Morris?

Wristtwitch 245
Who knows with this team. Seems like we can win out and show promise..get everyone’s hopes up and then go 1-7 or 0-5 the following year. Unfortunately I’ve had to learn not to get too excited about my team. SLEVEN 460
If I’m AB, I really don’t care if they win their next couple games. I would base everything on the final seven games. That’s the part of the schedule where we will see if Morris and these coordinators can make this team play like winners. AUTiger7222 7,607
Raheem Morris might be a really good HC. He won 10 games in 2010 with the Bucs. Also, it's rare, but sometimes a midseason coach turns into gold. It happened with Marv Levy with the Bills. He was a midseason replacement. I believe it has more to do with the coach actually being able to understand the players weaknesses and once they can do that they coach to thier strengths.. Look at Tannehill.. The Titans coach knows his strengths and weaknesses, and brilliantly coaches to his strengths.. He looks amazing in that system.. But he was trash in Miami JohnnyFranchise
1989Fan 16,018
Something special will need to happen to keep Morris. He was part of last seasons fools gold 6-2 finish. A strong finish won’t be enough, gonna take a decent showing in the playoffs for Blank to let go of the reset button. You could tell he was over it when he discussed the TD and Quinn firing. PriMeTiiMe 7,837
You guys are really setting yourself up for disappointment if you think this team is winning anywhere close to enough games to make the playoffs. Enjoy the few we do get but don't fall for this like so many did last year in the 6-2 2nd half stretch.
autigerfan 928
I'm hopeful after his first game as HC and honestly think Koetter called a heck of a game. I'm going to reserve judgement on Raheem until I see more but he passed his first test with flying colors. Becky4Falcons
Xfactor 4,161
He passed the eye test the first week let’s see what he can do with this team the rest of the year. If he does the impossible I would still like to see him surround himself with two great coordinators like Phillips as DC and a good offensive mind. Sidecar Falcon 8,133
Only way Morris should be hired is if he can win us a SB this year. Anything less and he should be gone. There is WAY too much talent on this team for us to be at 9-7 let alone 1-5. Last time I checked this is still the same staff that was here for the first five games. They all need to go. JDaveG 43,415
It really depends on what Koetter and Ulbrich do doesn't it? I mean, if the problem was primarily at the top, and Koetter and Ulbrich get the job done with a new HC, doesn't that argue for their retention? I'm not a fan of blowing things up that are working. The question is whether Morris can get it working with those guys in place. If anything, his fate is likely tied to them. And I think some of what will make his success, if he finds it, will be getting the best out of his coordinators and assistants. If he doesn't, it won't matter. If he does, so long as everything is good in the building, any coordinator that does his job superbly should stay. I know some of y'all hate Koetter, but I have to say -- watching our approach late in games early this season reminded me of the Super Bowl. We wanted to blame it all on Shanahan, and that has some legs inasmuch as Shanahan did the same thing in the Super Bowl with the Niners. But I have to wonder how much of it was Quinn's "stay aggressive" false bravado. With Morris at the helm we did everything you're supposed to do from a coaching standpoint. I can quibble with play calling here and there, especially some of Koetter's trademark cutesy plays we tried. But at the base, we burned clock, moved the chains and scored points. That's what you're supposed to do. If Morris can keep him doing it, I don't see why we would change unless Koetter moves on. ATLFalcon36 2,907
As long as McKay is in the organization we'll pick mediocre retread crony's at key positions and stay mediocre with the occasional over-achieving season. TheShadow

MAD597 7,497
If we reach the playoffs after an 0-5 start yea Keep Morris as HC and let him and the new GM decide who else to keep on the coaching staff. From 0-5 to the playoffs would be a worthy accomplishment to keep him in place. Boise Falcon Fan and HASHBROWN3
Geneaut 7,131
I am only going to judge Radio on what he does as HC of the Falcons. The 0-5 start isn't on him. If he can go 7-4 with this team then he deserves a shot at keeping the job. JohnnyFranchise and HASHBROWN3
paulitik 15,178
I”m fine with Ulbrich. We saw improvement when Ulbrich and Morris were calling the defense last year. I’d rather see a system like Shanahan or McDaniel runs here, but if Koetter can get the O to keep scoring 40 a game, which I’m skeptical he will, I think he’ll probably stay.
