This is a pipe dream because it requires AA to trade significant prospects and LM to spend money but I'd love to see them reaign Ozuna and trade for Bryant so that Riley can take a year in Gwinnett.

Kris Bryant is horrible these days. He's never recovered from that shoulder he had a couple years ago.

I think the Braves and their scouts pull another trick like they did with Matzkek and find a good key bench piece. That was one of the differences when Duvall went down.

I wouldn't mind Kikay Hernandez.

I could live with that. He's a FA too. He always seems to come up clutch in the playoffs too.

Hes a career .214 in October but hes hit 8 HR. He has a knack for coming up with the big hit. 5 of those 8 HRs have come in the NLCS. Two this year and 3 in 2017 against the Cubs.

Just need guys that have been there who won't let the moment overtake them. Freddie said Sandoval was a big reason the team was so loose heading into Game 4.

Pablo/Hernandez/Joc/Contreras would be one of the best benches we've had in a while. Although I doubt we get two guys from LA. Scouting department is going to have to come though in identifying some cheap deals who could contribute like Matzek.

What impressed me the most was Riley's professionalism. Other than one baserunning miscue, he was absolute nails the entire postseason. The same applies to Dansby.

During the forced rebuild, I'd emphasized the importance of position players. I looooooooove our infield. It might be the best in baseball.

Dodgers and Padres are right up there. That's what makes this so tough of a loss, because we know we're going to have to get through one of those two to get there.

His average definitely stinks. But it’s more the clutch factor. Not sure I would jump for joy, but I could live with that for sure

I really wanted Joc Pederson last offseason instead of the bringing back Markakis. A Duvall/Pederson platoon would be wonderful.

Ozuna and then Joc/Duvall would be a very good start to the offseason IMO. Makes our lineup and bench much better already.

Would really help to balance the lineup and it would deepen the bench by having one of Duvall or Pederson coming off the bench late in games. We really need another left-handed power hitter to take pressure off Freddie being the only one that fits into that category.

True, but Joc is an upgrade over what we have now.

In my opinion Joc is a fantasy baseball player.  Depending on the league.  Been there with him. Feast or famine.

I’m not sure that our GM agree’s

I would imagine he takes Ender's spot and he is definitely an upgrade over him lol

Maybe Waters next year?  Out #2 guy...like Pache this year as  our  number1!  with no at bats or minimal at bats this post season in MLB. Way to bring the youngsters up. In play off baseball...

Waters is the future too.  Or trade bait. Time will tell. These players didn’t even get bats this year. Shameful.

Anthopolous was asked if he felt the DH would be added in 2021. He said he didn't have a feel for it right now but its possible. Both him and Snitker said they enjoyed all the rule changes that were put in this year. We'll have to wait and see what rules MLB adopts permanently. We know they've talked about expanded playoffs staying. Manfred has wanted the extra inning rule for awhile and that was pretty well received as well.

I’m old school but I’m ready for the DH to take permanent hold in the NL. Watching pitchers bat is dreadful, plus in today’s environment it would eliminate a pitcher being removed from the game prematurely due to pinch hitting for him to get more runs.

And YES to the extra inning rule! It’s a nightmare to manage a pitching staff with endless extra innings.

But I do have one old school stronghold. I wish they would limit the number of pitchers on a roster. I’d like to see pitchers force themselves to be more efficient and pitch deeper into games and to prevent the constant pitching changes.
