Kris Bryant is horrible these days. He's never recovered from that shoulder he had a couple years ago.
stizz
I think the Braves and their scouts pull another trick like they did with Matzkek and find a good key bench piece. That was one of the differences when Duvall went down. I wouldn't mind Kikay Hernandez.

His shoulder injury was in 2018 when he hit only 13 homeruns and only played 102 games. Didn't realize he was that good last year. So I retract part of my statement. Just need guys that have been there who won't let the moment overtake them. Freddie said Sandoval was a big reason the team was so loose heading into Game 4. Pablo/Hernandez/Joc/Contreras would be one of the best benches we've had in a while. Although I doubt we get two guys from LA. Scouting department is going to have to come though in identifying some cheap deals who could contribute like Matzek.

Other than one baserunning miscue, he was absolute nails the entire postseason. The same applies to Dansby. During the forced rebuild, I'd emphasized the importance of position players. I looooooooove our infield. It might be the best in baseball. Dodgers and Padres are right up there. That's what makes this so tough of a loss, because we know we're going to have to get through one of those two to get there.
stizz
Another guy I know the franchise would love would be DiDi Gregorious, but I doubt he'd play 3rd and split time with Riley.

I really wanted Joc Pederson last offseason instead of the bringing back Markakis. A Duvall/Pederson platoon would be wonderful. We really need another left-handed power hitter to take pressure off Freddie being the only one that fits into that category.

Out #2 guy...like Pache this year as our number1! with no at bats or minimal at bats this post season in MLB. Way to bring the youngsters up. In play off baseball... Waters is the future too. Or trade bait. Time will tell. These players didn’t even get bats this year. Shameful. tl;dr
Unknøwn
Anthopolous was asked if he felt the DH would be added in 2021. He said he didn't have a feel for it right now but its possible. Both him and Snitker said they enjoyed all the rule changes that were put in this year. We'll have to wait and see what rules MLB adopts permanently. We know they've talked about expanded playoffs staying. Manfred has wanted the extra inning rule for awhile and that was pretty well received as well. Manfred has wanted the extra inning rule for awhile and that was pretty well received as well. I’m old school but I’m ready for the DH to take permanent hold in the NL. Watching pitchers bat is dreadful, plus in today’s environment it would eliminate a pitcher being removed from the game prematurely due to pinch hitting for him to get more runs. And YES to the extra inning rule! It’s a nightmare to manage a pitching staff with endless extra innings. But I do have one old school stronghold. I wish they would limit the number of pitchers on a roster. I’d like to see pitchers force themselves to be more efficient and pitch deeper into games and to prevent the constant pitching changes.
