That Albies/Swanson/Pache run will be really fast and Riley would act as a pseudo-cleanup hitter. I don't think d'Arnaud is going to be hitting cleanup very long. No way he hits like he did during the regular season. Just don't think it's sustainable. Wasn't his BABIP like .380?

His expected line was actually really good too and would have played in the 4 spot, but you’re not wrong to expect some regression in his numbers. d’Arnaud was tattooing the ball last year to the tune of a nearly 94 MPH EV (2nd highest of his career). Des-pool
I think we really need to kick the tires on Turner or a Ramirez trade. That piece that might put us on the Dodger level and shore up any weak spots. Riley can spell and come off the bench if he is still here. If we do have around 12-15 million more to play with, no reason not to...

We always do this. With all that’s said about our offense, our pitching is a fragile house of cards. Soroka coming off a very delicate injury, Ian Anderson still young and unproven, Max Fried who can’t pitch deep into games, and Morton as he closes out his career. Not exactly Glavine, Maddux, Smoltz, and Avery. And without a DH, we have Ozuna’s defense to deal with. Hoping for the best but lots of worries. Bet you are real fun at parties! Braves make some big moves, and here you are, raining on the parade! Don't look now, but there is a lot of time left until the season starts, and plenty of time for a big trade or acquisition. Unknøwn
I understand d'Arnaud is going to come back to earth but it shouldn't be an issue. If he falls close to his career line that's going to be a. 255-.260 range. We can live with that, the offense is strong enough. Normally what offense you get from your catcher is a bonus anyway. JDFIII
d'Arnaud can hit 7th if he "falls back to earth". I am interested in Swanson and Riley taking their next steps. For Dansby, that is consistency, and some pop. He is fully capable of hitting .290 with 20 Hr. If he can do that, put him in at 5. He was on his way to that before his wrist issue 2 years ago. Riley would be an even better 5 hole guy, if he can continue what he started last year. Better contact and less swing out of the strike zone. I would like to see this lineup: 1. Swanson 2. Acuna 3. Freeman 4. Ozuna 5. Albies 6. Riley 7. d'Arnaud 8. Pache It is deep with pop through out. We do need a left handed bat. Some one like Ramirez would work to even out the lineup. I just don't think they want to give up Waters. Drew could be ready as early as next year. He would look good in LF imho.

Malachore
How do I find games played by position? So guy is trying to tell me Marcell Ozuna would be the backup 1st basemen lmao I figure it's d'Arnaud, Riley or even Camargo in a pinch. Marcell Ozuna has played exactly 1 2/3 innings in his entire professional career (majors and minors) at 1B in his career. That was way back in 2008 at age 17 in rookie league.
