BirdGangATL 775
Cut him for not jumping on the ball! And securing us the win. Waste of a roster spot, sign Delanie Walker. Graham u are horrible and have no football IQ like DQ!
MilleniumFalcon 3,083
Was Russell Gage on the field there? He's usually heads up and may have picked up the ball in that situation.
Jesus 25,667
Cut Julio, Oz, Hurst, and anyone else out there. It's obvious they weren't supposed to fall on the ball or one of them would. Not sure what the ST coach is preaching there.

BirdGangATL 775
Graham has no excuse, he was the first to have a shot at the ball and just stood there watching. Need to cut him for his action. MilleniumFalcon

Need to cut him for his action. Cut him after Dan Quinn is gone if you want. Any new HC will evaluate the team from top to buttom. If you want to have players held responsible (that includes Julio Jones btw), we need to fire the hugger and the sideline. Halcon-1
Doctor Kildare 2,182
Maybe the root of the problem is having a head coach more concerned with embracing the suck than embracing the ball. BamaBirdLady

Maybe after they saw how the Dallas kicker placed the ball, they thought it would go out of bound before reaching 10 yards. They called the TO to tell the players not to touch it. Just speculating. My guess is the coaches were saying something like "it has to go 10 yards!" and the players got mindf#cked into thinking that applied to them too. smdh

At worst, you have 3v2 guys. If anything, Graham and OZ should just throw a block and let Neaseman or Julio run up and fall on it.
etherdome 6,314
Proper player preparation would have solved the problem. Belichick says it most elegantly: Do your job That includes coaches.

I agree, the only thing I can think of is they weren't touching the ball because they thought it was going to go out of bounds before it got to the 10 yard mark. But why not just pick it up once you saw how slowly it was rolling?!? It's mind-boggling.

Herr Beast 1,823
The worst part is not even not falling on the ball but allowing the Cowboys players to circle around the rolling ball. When the ball crossed the line, no Falcons was even in position to fall on the ball anymore. The fact that none did hints more towards catastrophic coaching than individual mistakes.
