Good piece....

A few things I don’t agree with:

- Healthy Neal isn’t on Adams or Derwin James level

- The team has not been well coached since the end of 2017

Eh, we were well coached on defense last year; once they got the right coaches in place! :ninja: Valid point on offense all day!

PS: might need to change title of the Vic Beasley thread. He failed his physical today.

This is refreshing to hear.  I've got us pegged as an 8-8 team, so hearing someone like Chris Simms (who I have great admiration for) give us such a rosey-outlook makes me feel more encouraged about our chances of making the playoffs.  Of all the analysts that I like and listen to on a regular basis, he gave our draft selection of AJ Terrell the most praise.  He's been overly optimistic about our team since last year, specifically our defense.

Yeah brutal schedule so 8-8s more like a normal 5-11 yr. 11-5 wouldn’t surprise me

This is a good team. No excuses this year. Stop the STUPID penalties and run the ball.

Gotta stop now.  After 48 years. We need this.

I can see it now. After all this time we finally win a Super Bowl, but it is forever stigmatized by a COVID-19  asterisk!

I disagree. These are extraordinary times. Any team that gets there will be remembered for all of the hard work they did to get through the challenges put in front of them. This season is going to have a first time winner. It will be a team no one is paying attention to.

Thank goodness for intelligent people. This world would be doomed without y'all.

He has a similar result on the defense. We are a different unit when hes on the field. Hes not he best but a top 5 SS when healthy.

And I wouldn't give 2 ****s...most of the Pat's wins already have those next to em. I just want one no matter how we get it.

Get ready to be surprised,,  I have a thread on the board somewhere .. that we will end up being 11- 5 this year....   Even if it's not that exact guess ,,, I still think we are going to do well this year.. And I do believe we will go deep into the playoffs..simply because of all the reasons they talked about and some reasons they didn't even mention... I'll be honest with you, if we don't go deep into the playoffs , it will be because we don't have the right Coach,, It will not be for lack of talent ,,, This team is nearly twice as talented as any Falcon team in History.  If we play smart,, Which comes from the Coaches... Then this will be a season to remember.

Critics have been saying this since 2016. Thing is, this team has never came out the gate swinging. We start of looking like the most inept team on the planet. Then with like 4 games left in the season they’re fighting for their lives, like a playoff spot depends on it. This team shouldn’t get desperate to start winning. But their mindset and coaching hasn’t been right since the 2016. Really this all has fallen on the coaching. Talent doesn’t mean ish without that. So I honestly will be surprised if we win the South. Until then? Our team sucks until proven to me otherwise.

Teams with continuity should do well than teams that are new or with many new players. This is why Tampa Bay will be in trouble without any preseason games and with a new QB (old QB with a new team).

Atlanta has continuity...

Vote you for mayor right now
