Lornoth
Koetter out here with a magnifying glass on the field searching for his white whale: A running game. We're never going to be the 9'ers in the running game because we're far too air-oriented personnel-wise, we just need to be able to run when we should and we'll be fine on offense. vel
I just don't trust Dirk. They had some well designed running plays later in the year, but rarely went to them consistently enough. I'm fine building the offense around the passing game, but if you don't have any bread and butter run plays, it doesn't matter. Even the Saints learned that over the course of their 7-9 spree. You've got the horses to run it. Run it. Mr.11, FalconsIn2012, Vandy and 3 others

We have one of the best RBs in the game right now, and we have capable backups. There's no reason why we shouldn't be able to run the ball well. Shanny has done more with less, but that's because 1) he actually spends a great deal of time working on that aspect of the offense and 2) the scheme suits our players. We need DK to be about offense. Which means beat a team however we can. We saw Shanny and the Niners beat up a good GB team in the NFCCG with ground and pound offense. Jimmy G threw the ball only 8 times and the game was still out of reach. Heck, the Vikings beat us first game of the season and Cousins only threw it 10 times. Would DK call a game like that? I hope so. red falcon

The coaches and our defense have been another story. red falcon and Vandy
red falcon
Please work on the run game a lot. We can pass the ball all day as others have said but our run was trash. The line looked terrible on some of those run plays. Please give Gono an honest chance. Hes a vet now.

You should of been worried about the OL sucking on several occasions. The defense or lack of especially sacking the QB has been a problem for the TD era

Gono is a board favorite ...if he don’t get a smell this yr he must be overrated by this board. He sure passes the eye ball test. It’d be awesome If Gono could win the LG competition battle. So true....I think the defense will be top half or better this yr. If so, we should win 9-10 gms even with this brutal schedule Vandy

They mostly plays vets even if a younger player has shown potential. They wait until the end of the season or make changes due to injuries. Thats lazy coaching. Dont get me wrong you did mention him looking decent on the field. I just know we could run and matt didnt have the pocket collapsing when he was in. And now we dont have preseason. Might be good cause they made terrible decisions based off of it. Atl Falcon
