FalconsIn2012
Please shut this dude up next year. Cam loves to run his mouth. Cameron Jordan: Falcons games prepared him for playing in empty Superdome Playing without that backing would hurt, but Jordan is confident that the Saints will overcome it. He pointed to the lackluster showing by opposing fans for Saints road games as preparation for these sort of circumstances. “Now we’re just going to know that everyone is tuned in on TV, I guess? I don’t know. To have to treat a home game like an away game? Awkward,” Jordan continued, “It’ll be like playing in Atlanta or something.” That’s some nice fuel to add to the fire for the always-heated Saints-Falcons rivalry. Maybe Atlanta will make it competitive this year. Cameron Jordan has historically great NFL sack stat against Matt Ryan By John Sigler | July 21, 2020 3:16 pm ET It’s one thing to know that New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan has sacked Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan more than any other passer, recording 18 takedowns against Ryan in his career. That’s impressive in its own right, but maybe not too surprising given how often the Saints and Falcons have squared off over the years. What adds another element to this fact is the knowledge that Jordan’s 18 sacks against Ryan or more than any other defender-quarterback combination in NFL history, per Elias Sports Bureau. Jordan won that title by sacking Ryan four times on Thanksgiving Day last season, part of his personal-best 15.5 sacks in 2019. That’s going down as one of our favorite stats, which is probably common among Saints faithful. And thanks to social media, we now know that it’s one of Jordan’s favorite stats, too: No NFL player has a sacked a Quarterback more than @camjordan94 has sacked Matt Ryan, in league history. One of my favorite stats 6:14 PM · Jul 20, 2020·Twitter for Android cameron jordan (@camjordan94) Tweeted: Mine tooo!!! Idk his @ lol nvm found it just like I’ve found him the last 18 times! @M_Ryan02 let’s get to 20 this yr my good sir!!!😏 let’s do this together? ATLFalcon36
Coaches need to remind Kaleb of this every practice and every day leading up to saints matchups and Gurley needs to truck his ***, run right at him, exhaust him and let McGary put his *** on the turf. Disrespect. FalconsIn2012 and JDaveG
caponine
Its still F McGrary, but if he needs motivation to block the man in front of him then something is wrong. Cam can talk because we've had crappy o lines it's not his fault we were a revolving door in pass rush the last 10 years. Change the narrative this year, you want it ?? Then the o line needs to go get it. Flip that tweet on him simple as that. Punk D Lines every chance you get, play till the echo of the whistle, roadgrade defensive fronts, impose your will and steal their hearts. Time to get mean and nasty. slick0ne, vitaman and FalconsIn2012

Kaleb and ATL took care of business the first game, not so much the second. Cam’s comments about playing in ATL aren’t on McGary, neither are most of his sacks on Ryan. lets hope he can hold his own moving fwd, but Cam is gonna get his regardless who is in front of him. marvinthemartian
I seem to recall a team called the Aints whose fans, if and when they actually showed up at their home games, wore bags over their heads. Why does this board wants Falcons players to take Saints players out at the knee so much ?? Boise Falcon Fan
I feel the same way about this as I do "running up the score". People ***** all the time about stuff like this. Until we get it done on the field, people will continue to slam us. You have to earn the respect...
Geneaut
I 'like' Cam. In the sense he's entertaining to hear from, and he 'gets' the ATL/NO rivalry at a good level. He's always looking to get under someone's skin with a quick soundbite, but he's rarely malicious. He tweeted Matt the other day telling him they should work together to get that NFL record to 20 this season. That's funny without being mean. Plus he dumped on Cam Newton all the time. I respect the player and the man. I love the rivalry between these two teams right now. We've both been battling hard for a SB for the last 10+ years, both teams coming very close to a Lombardi, and that's tough when it's same division teams. Jordan defines the NO defense right now. Can't hate the guy for fueling the fire. Geneaut
