AUTiger7222 6,044
Looks like we're one step closer to getting NFL football this year. NFLPA has been asking for there to be no preseason games this year and the NFL has finally agreed. So one step closer. As much as I long for August football with the majority of the games being played by guys that won't make the team come September I wouldn't be sad if preseason never came back. It would be like high school and college football in that regard. They don't get warm up games so why should the NFL get warm up games? Just go into it cold turkey and if you're not ready to play you rightly get exposed. athell and PokerSteve 1
caponine 6,586
Might as well, should know who is in and who is out at that point. Not like you really need the preseason anyway.
falcons007 19,524
I thought TD and falcons were stunting Benkert’s growth to name Ryan the starting QB. Now NFL is cancelling preseason to stop young QBs from starting. Common how long will this team tolerate Noodle arm.

Exactly how do they do that with limited locations and 1500+ players alone. They would have had to have had something set in stone months ago.

True 1500 is harder than 450 but it’s still early and if they want a season they should at least look into it.Is it feasible I don’t know but it’s the only way to keep the players and staff safe. They have one month. Theres no way it can happen. The NBA situation is different. They can legit play multiple games at once. The NFL would need at least 6-7 fields minimum in order for it to work or you would have games played throughout the week. The issue with that is the players get no real recovery time between games red falcon and PokerSteve

You could almost do this at Jerry world if the have multiple practice fields but lodging would be a issue. ya_boi_j

I was thinking more in line of all games being played in s single day but I see what you're saying though they would have to stretch between 2-3 days. Most you could knock out in one day is 9 games. With more fields you could knock out every game in one day allowing full recovery for the players.
