Roanoke Falcon
He did jack-crap nothing until parts of last year. He's a product of Shanahan's scheme and the 49er o-line. slick0ne, Rings, quickzero and 12 others 14
FalconsIn2012
My gut says he is a product of Shannahan knowing how to create space in the run game. Can’t overlook that he has been cut 6 times in his short NFL career. With that said, dude was a beast in the 2nd half of last season: “Over the second half of the season, Mostert averaged 5.7 yards per carry on 82 rushes. Twenty of those went for first downs, and 14 went over 10 yards. He averaged 3.59 yards after contact (seventh in the NFL) and avoided 15 tackles, “ Ergo Proxy, aer2033 and QuantumFalconz
FalconsIn2012
I love guys with this kind of perseverance. Hope he gets paid big time: “Mostert left his home state a decade ago, determined to put his tortured family life behind him. He never knew his father, he doesn’t speak to his mother, and his stepfather is in prison for attempted murder after shooting his younger half brother four times on Father’s Day 2014. When Mostert was no more than 4, he picked up a loaded gun left in the house and shot himself in the foot...” ”Local news reports back then said that his half brother, then 18, had broken up a fight between his parents. Mostert’s stepfather had his hands on his mother’s throat, police reports said, and when his mother fled, his father shot his son four times with a .22 caliber handgun in his abdomen, hip and elbow. As the teen ran out of the house, the father shot one more time and missed. After surgery, the brother recovered.” Sportsman2593
caponine
I think something is wrong with his head, he bouta get the starting job, the recognition and everything. Probably get a new contract next year if he has a good year. Im not giving a new contract to someone that was *** for 6 seasons and had half of a good season unless they show me they can earn it. Should just stay in SF, he'll go back to being irrelevant if he comes here falconfreak1
ryanadonis
If 49ers didn't have Mostert last year, they aren't in the Super Bowl. Anyone remember the NFCCG? Yeah... Stryka

Mostert literally had to split carries with Coleman, Breda and who ever else they had in the back field. Mostert had to play special teams as well. FalconBlood
I understand Dimitroff and Quinn are on the ropes. And Mostert clearly was a weapon for SF while Gurley is injury prone. It may happen. I’d rather find a defensive or trenches boost however. I believe in Ito/Hill/Ollison/Daniel to help if that happens. Smiler11
He's a product of the system. Shanahan won't pay him and he'll find another unheralded guy next year and get the same production out of him. cwell1, vitaman, quickzero and 3 others
Knight of God
Lol. Two words...Kyle Shanahan. He will need to be in a similar run system. Also, we have Gurley. No thanks jdawg4876, PokerSteve, Ergo Proxy and 9 others

He had a good stretch, but he’s JAG. caponine, papachaz, vitaman and 2 others

It helps also that he took alot of teams by surprise and they had no tape on him

I don't think any player in Falcons history could have ran like he did.
