*Atlanta Falcons Message Board: "This is a Sacred Place"

Mods,

Maybe we should check the bad apples who derail topics in to negativity and not silence the posters who just want to support the TEAM and all the work they are doing on and off the field, ehh?

The entire Atlanta Falcons organization have made it known where they stand. I for one am dang proud of this franchise, and am thankful for everyone who is listening and helping. Nothing controversial or political about that sentiment.

If this bother's you then you should look in the mirror, and that's for everyone.

Now let us praise our hometown team for their efforts, because THEY deserve it!

Be good to one another, awaiting my warning.

Especially since our QB has led the way most of the way and driven a positive Falcon narrative since the start.

There are teams out there that have experienced a more 'trying' offseason with less competence in their leadership positions resulting in confusion amongst the players and edicts from management to toe the line.

I just want to say I am proud of our Falcon family during these times.  Sometimes being a falcon is more than being inside the lines.

Completely agree. I work for a fortune 500 and company and have been for 14 years and they broke a long time rule on silence about these issues.

It was always seen as HR inappropriate but this one was different. I spoke out in multiple instances and the team and beyond are all the better for it.

This one is different

I think we all should be proud of our team and proud of Atlanta.

This type of post obviously isn't what we were trying to curtail.  Those who have been around here for long enough know how things can quickly spiral out of control.  It is a sacred space to me, given all the outlets that are nothing but negativity.

That being said i think its great for people to show support!

I'm proud to be an Atlanta Falcons fan. Through the good times and bad I've stayed true to this franchise and I'm glad to see that they're staying true to their community. It's a testament to good character and wanting to see an equal footing in this world. Let's all be the change we'd like to see at the end of the day.

Hopefully we have sent a strong enough message to people to not derail threads that have great messages right now.

While these conversations need to be had to make progress, I also completely understand that it's a conversation that can spin out of control and lose any chance of benefit.  Especially with the way some around here like to throw gas on fires.

Thanks for giving this one a chance and hopefully you're right, we can keep these threads constructive with progress in mind.
