Can't say they aren't trying, think this is the most aggressive i've ever seen the Falcons in the offeseason. Already signed a lot of good players now continuing to to sign more. TD and Quinn are not taking any chances this year, anything less than a SB probably means he is gone

We still have the same usual weaknesses on the interior DL, they are too light and will get pushed around. We will have our usual issue putting pressure ont he QB and this creates a domino effect we have seen year after year.

But yea to me Vinny is a better version of Clayborn...He is a rotational rusher who can rush from either End positions and from the inside

Dang... was looking for news on Vinny Curry & came across this from just a few weeks back in early May:

https://www.phillyvoice.com/vinny-curry-eagles-paterson-principal-gerald-glisson-covid-19-death/

Former Eagles DE Vinny Curry mourns half-brother, N.J. principal who died of COVID-19

Dr. Gerald Glisson, a principal at Paterson's Eastside High School, was 46 years old

Former Philadelphia Eagles defensive end and current NFL free agent Vinny Curry is mourning the loss of his half-brother, a New Jersey high school principal who died last Sunday of coronavirus complications.

Dr. Gerald Glisson, 46, was remembered as a "gentle giant" by family, friends and students of Paterson's Eastside High School after his death.

Curry, 31, posted a message and several photos of himself with Glisson on Instagram, calling him his big brother.

Glisson was employed by the Paterson School District for 20 years, including previous roles as an elementary-level special education teacher, an athletic director for the district and principal at Great Falls Academy.

Local reports described Glisson as a "pillar of the community" whose loss will leave a big void in the schools system and beyond.

Glisson played football at Delaware State University and helped mentor Curry on his way to playing Division One football at Marshall University. Glisson leaves behind his wife and two daughters.

I'd be happy with signing him to a one year deal just as a good rotational piece. I don't know who he'd replace. Means maybe? I'd still like Griffin, but he might out-price himself for us. Overall, it would be a good, not spectacular, signing. Since we're going out and signing all the AFMB dream picks of yesteryears, why not?

I’d be on board with the curry signing but would prefer someone who plays SLB and can rush the passer like Matthews. I think people expecting us to sign multiple players with Tru’s $11 million need to remember that the draft class with cost a couple million and we like to have $5-7 million for midseason signings and to roll over to next year. So I think we really only have about $4 million to play with absent additional cuts (Carpenter or, god forbid, Mack).

Could we still make Free June 1?
