OT: Seahawks Offered Wilson For #1 Pick

Recommended Posts

Makes perfect sense if you're the Browns.  If you can get a known top 10 QB, you should.  That pick may or may not pan out.

I don't know why Seattle would have done it, unless they had a number 2 they had a lot of confidence in.

Sooo, who would they have targeted? I don't see anyone here I would trade Russ for.

It sounds more to me like the Browns wanted Wilson and the Seahawks were willing to discuss it, but not just for the no. 1 pick.

I don't blame them.  Wilson is a legit NFL QB.  It would take a lot to trade a guy like that off my roster if I'm the Seahawks.  A whole lot, and apparently more than the Browns were willing to pay.  As it should be.

Why would SEA ever make that deal, unless they couldn’t agree on a contract with Wilson? They would have to use the pick on a QB anyways, so they go backwards.

It would take 3 straight #1s to be worth talking even IMO.

This makes Seattle look dumb...lol

Seattle rumored to have offered Russell Wilson for Cleveland Browns 2018 No. 1 pick

The Cleveland Browns landed their franchise quarterback Baker Mayfield with the 2018 No. 1 pick, but they may have been offered a franchise quarterback for the pick.

The 2018 NFL Draft altered the trajectory of the Cleveland Browns organization after they selected Baker Mayfieldwith the No. 1 overall pick. The Browns had been searching for a franchise quarterback for several years, and it appears Mayfield is that guy.

This is crazy man.  Seems nuts to offer RW for the Browns first say what?!!
RW is a bad ***!

Can y’all imagine if this were MR??  This would be a 20 page thread.

But being RW, it’s completely ignored smfh.

Its hard to imagine this happened though & even harder to imagine the Browns not jumping on that.  Smfh again.

Odd note: Wilson has never received a single MVP vote

This is wild.

I feel pretty confident in saying RW is a top 5 QB in the league.
