The Rock
When asked what Dimitroff likes about any of his picks, Dimitroff states athletic, big, fast, ideal size, etc. Cares more about prototypical size and speed rather than actual football skills. youngbloodz
Lol you look for traits in the draft. I mean it’s obvious you don’t know much about scouting my friend. Sir Joe™
They all have "actual football skills" hence why they're literally football players. The FO has the access to gather and assess the intangibles each have. The Don™, Borat, Sportsman2593 and 3 others 5
The Don™
Not the whole truth though. They didn't pick just athletes this year. They picked guys with urgency and passion for the game with good mental makeup and intangibles. Quinn and TD haven't prioritized that in the past. Seems like they have this year. They also picked three guys (Davidson, Walker, Hawkins) with some crazy in them. g-dawg, wnyfalconfan, Atl Falcon and 7 others 9
Foo Falcons
It aint like we're taking Rugby players or former wrestler with athletic traits, size, etc. As stated above, all these guys were highly productive in college and all seem to have great awareness and football smarts. Mister pudding
What picks 2-4 have in common? They are all very good, yet versatile. Davidson- could play DE on run downs or spell Davison at DT Hennessy- drafted at Center, but could start at guard Walker- can play inside as well as stand up LB, also a ST ace Hawkins- started out on offense as WR, then corner, then safety . This should not be overlooked! Too many times an injury completely paralyses a position for us. These picks, not as flashy as some of us would like, make us a better football team IamFRESCO1, Chitown2ATL_Falcon, Fleurieu falcon and 1 other
A-TowN.-
It’s clear the Falcons wanted some competitive, tough players who love the game of football and are thirsty to get on the field. They all have a competitive attitude and are ready to get to work. Have some versatility and athleticism to their game too. Been here long enough to know they drafted similar “prototypical athletes or Size” with limited football instincts, see below. 3rd rounder Desmond Southward 3rd rounder Duke Riley 2nd rounder Jalen Collins 3rd rounder Lamar Holmes 3rd rounder Akeem Dent. I’m not saying the current draft class will suck but pointing out what Dimitroff says about his picks.

I dont think any of our picks are projects as of today. They all played a ton of college snaps and multiple positions (except Terrell). They all are extremely intelligent and instinctual. None of them are "Raw" as a prospect
