I agree.  AJ will be good... let's be honest.. he had 1 bad half of football.. basically 3 plays. (1 where the WR clearly pushed off).  ****, our team as a whole played the worst 4th quarter of football EVER on the biggest stage

Known as a "high floor, low ceiling" talent. That says what you see is what you have. Not going to get much better.

You know, some of you guys remind me of a post I read years ago.  I do not remember who the poster was or who the players mentioned were, but it went something like this.

We should trade this player for that one.  Then, we trade up/down in the draft and get this guy.  We can pick up this guy in the third, then we cut this guy and do one more trade, this guy for that guy.

My response was that we should do it the easy way and go to www.nfltrade.com and just place online orders for all the guys we want.  Instead of cutting anyone, we can put them up for bid on nflbay.com and get something for them.

Listen, Dimitroff, Quinn, Morris, and a dozen other coaches and trainers have watched many hours of film on Terrell.  They have analyzed the good and bad characteristics and know what they can build on and what they can correct.  We should take a deep breath and see where this goes.

Not super excited about the pick but not too upset at it either as I feel we needed a cb in the worst way. Not gonna lie I was hoping we picked CeeDee Lamb but tbh it was not a true position of need.

oh and just so you can say u heard it here first “AJ terrible”.

Anybody below you will trade if you make the right offer.

"Listen up youse bums.  I gonna make you an offer you can't refuse.  Youse guys see?"

I now understand the disappointment.  You live in make believe land and want everything to go as you have planned.  Is that how your life works?

I have been spending much time on this board lately but I can absolutely swear that not once..NOT ONCE in the entire offseason...did I ever see a single poster even mention the name 'A J Terrell'.

Shows what a bunch of soothsayers we are.  lol

I've been in on Terrell the whole time

Yeah idk what he's talking about.

I think @g-dawg had him in one of his mocks too.

If a player is the right guy I can’t be mad if they didn’t lose any assets acquiring him and the depth of this draft is going to be more apparent today. I think after weeks of watching the kinlaws the browns the okudas and then you get in a situation where nobody is left that you build hype for it’s tough. That being said they beat the corner run with who I believe was the best for the falcons from what was best. We can still get a safety and bring kazee in for nickel and 3 safety looks. If not safety I’d really like the other Aj on the dline.

Anybody below you will trade if you make the right offer. If we had offered the Chiefs picks 16 and 47 for their pick 32, you think they would take it? We could have halved our chance of drafting a bust.

So we have to give the Chiefs 2 picks to move back? In what world does that make sense.

We should have traded you to halve your chance of posting nonsense

Ha.......Mel Kiper

.....same guy who was banging the table and was 100% sure that Jimmy Clausen was gonna be a top 5 and future HOF QB in the NFL lol

Kiper has been horrible for a very very long time.

I think he said he would retire if Clausen wasn’t what he said he would be, but of course he didn’t follow through

Yes please! Trade me to someone willing to take a chance at a 60+  year old middle linebacker. I'm starting to lose hope that I'll ever be drafted.

Mel Kiper is a joke.  His board never looks like NFL GM boards.

ESPN still gives him a lot of attention. It’s interesting, a lot of times “Mel’s best available” indicates GM’s don’t agree when you’ve got his #15 overall player sitting there at 30-40. Seems to happen every year

Not sure how anyone can think this.  It's just a silly assertion.

Terrell has some of the quickest feet and most fluid hips I've seen in a while.  Compare his combine workout to Okudah's and Henderson's, and you'd walk away believing Terrell was absolutely the more polished looking CB.  Dude i silky-smooth with his body control.

Like Keanu Neal, he's going to come out day one as a starter and surprise everyone. Will probably get some rookie PI penalties, but he'll do the job well enough.

This. His fluidity is great.

What proof of evidence do you have that the Falcons could have traded back?  I hear this all over the board.   TRADE BACK!!  It takes 2 teams to trade back

This is my thought exactly.  Maybe you trade with Oakland and they end up taking him, then you are left with an even lesser player at the position.

I think we all knew Okudah was the top corner and CJ Henderson had been gaining steam of late so we focused on those players even though it was unlikely they would fall to 16.  I agree that I didn't see Terrell in too many mocks  to us which is maybe why fans may seem disappointed.
