The best LB if all else failed. All else failed. Kinlaw wasn't there because TD let John Lynch out-maneuver him. There wasn't a mid first-round worthy CB available. We had our pick of linebackers! So TD drafted--- a scrub loser who got roasted like a marshmallow at a girlscout camp-a-thon. I'm not angry--- FURIOUS--- that TD didn't draft Kinlaw. I am angry because he allowed himself to be out-maneuvered by a TV color analyst, then panicked and failed to draft any of a host of better players than Victory Road. Hard to maneuver when no one wants to trade. You’re just pissed because after all the mock drafts you read and done the player you thought we would take wasn’t there and now it’s tantrum time. Gotta admit though watching you meltdown like hot ice cream is hilarious. falconsd56, UnrealfalcoN, FA91 and 1 other 1

Another thing i don't understand about that grade at all is we took what was considered the 3rd or 4th best CB in the draft depending on who you ask and got a C+ for is and the Raiders like 2 or 3 picks later took the 8th rated CB in the draft which was rated quite a bit lower than Terrell on their own boards and they get a B for it that made no sense at all lol. quotemokc and Cheyakita

He was higher on many GMs boards than the analysts. Go figure. I re watched the LSU game, and it wasnt nearly as bad as I thought. He didnt give up a single catch 2nd half and had like 4 PBUs going against Chase. But folks only remember the bad so thats cool too. We got a really good player Im gonna admit i never once watched that LSU game tape until tonight just because i didn't want his worst game making me completely hate him as a prospect with how bad people were knocking him on it. After watching it im not sure wtf everyone hated him so much for on it. The 1st big catch he gave up the WR had a pretty big push off to get separation and thats probably OPI in the nfl. The 2nd big one he was literally right in ole buddys pocket stride for stride and my god what a phenomenal throw by Burrows that was. Im not sure many Cb's could have stopped that one even the elite of the nfl would have had very little chance to stop it with that throw. The 3rd one i'll give them he got beat a good bit on the end zone throw he was still there sorta and it was a good throw but the WR got the better of him there imo. So 1 meh play in the end zone 1 offensive pushoff and 1 elite level spot throw by the QB is what everyones all up in arms about? I seen quite a few plays earlier that he made some really good stops on and seen after he gave up those 3 plays he battled back alot in the 2nd half and didn't give up much at all. Im not nearly as worried as i was about that game now after watching his film on it. I think people extremely exaggerating how bad he did in that game as for me it only 1 really meh or below avg play i saw in the film in the endzone. Pete prisco is an idiot if that’s who’s grades you are looking at. He also said Detroit made a mistake by taking Okudah at 3 instead of Derrick brown cause “you always go with the big guy”. Some people just are stuck in their ways of how football used to be and can’t adapt. He’s one of them.

I guess in your mind we could’ve traded with anyone? All week long we were the team being the most aggressive to move up and the only trade ahead of us was a baby swap of 13/14. Once you wrap your head around this fact the better off you’ll be.

I still hope we target Kindle Vildor later in the draft. I think we roll with Oliver Sheff and AJ as starters. Blidi provides depth. We all wanted Henderson and Okudah but who knows what these teams wanted or if they were willing to trade at all. Much as we think we do we don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. I b*tched ab the pick last night cuz I wanted Murray and he was available but it is what it is now lol. Stryka

AJ played some tough competition and he was anywhere from the 3-5 best CB. Well 6 went last night. We wait we lose out on a top CB in the draft. I wish the best for him and I’m always rooting for the DBs as an ex DB. I want a safety now as I believe we could run more Big Nickel with Neal in box or covering seams and flats. Yeah I think we almost have to go safety now and I would’ve hated Delpit at 16 but I’d love him in the second or any of the top S left really. I like Delpit ball skills but hate that he can’t tackle. We could have a couple ball hawks back there tho if we draft Delpit
