Well, these 4th round guys seem like they should have gone in the 6th.  But since we didn't have a 6th, we just took them.

I don't get it.  Cominsky last year made sense.  D Campbell made sense.  Jarrett made sense.  But most are either ST picks or cute picks.

Your 4th rounders should be traits guys who have 1 good trait you can use now and you hope to develop more.  There were several available in the 4th (though I do think there was a big drop off after mid 3rd).

Maybe they'll all turn out great...but seems like we got a couple line prospects who project to be serviceable and then two no names in the 4th.  Davidson overperforming is going to be a key to this draft actually being at all game changing.

I don't know who advised him to leave early but it didn't really hurt him. It's not like he was gonna stop sucking next year so I can't see where it makes a difference to his draft stock. People fell in love with the team's record and relatives success with him as a starter but they ignored the fact that Georgia lost every single game in which they actually had to throw the ball. He's a smart kid and, by all accounts, a pretty solid human being but he's not an NFL QB. He was barely a college QB and any other coach would have benched him.

In his case, I think you stay in school, get your degree, and hope to leave on a productive high note. Last year wasn't good. I know it was a dream of his, but don't force it. Too many people around that "like you" and will tell you nothing but good things.

That may work, but understand the NFL community that does the picking knows a lot more. Most people around here don't even respect football out west or give it a chance. That is a mistake in my book. I use to love staying up late on Saturday's to get the pac-10 (now 12) games. They produce NFL talent too.

Yeah I'm not questioning his talent, just saying generally from here to twitter or reddit seems most of the fanbase wasn't aware of who the player is. We'll see what the future holds for him, ideally it'll be a promising future one can hope.
