DonDaLuvMaker
If this could be the case, what would be the best scenario to do so? Should the Falcons move up to land Okudah, then try to find a way to get a FS if one falls?
FalconsIn2012
Delpit and Amik Robertson would be a solid start Francis York Morgan, MD-FalconFan13, Abeasley27 and 7 others
Osiruz
I'd take Delpit and Igbinoghene.

A combination of one of the top safeties and one of the top corners (Igbinoghene is my #3 corner) would be a huge boost to a secondary that needs fine tuning. etherdome
Take a CB in the first and a FS in the second (Davis, Delpit, Dugger, Blackmon, Burgess). My guess is that we trade away our second rounder and hope for a FS in the third

ramonezy
If that's the case you'd bring in more experienced vets, not rookies with potential FalconFanSince1970
Sobeit
With everything else we need I was thinking more like Delpit and Reggie Robinson.

Taking day 1 impact players in the secondary is never easy. Even harder when you start relying on 2nd and 3rd rounders to do it. There are only 4 secondary players in this draft that I think are instant upgrades and contributors from day 1. Okudah, Henderson, WInfield Jr and Delpit. If we go up for Okudah, it immediately takes us out of contention for any of the others. Henderson would likely require a trade-up as well, but is very unlikely that if we made the move to get him, we'll be in a position to draft one of the safeties. jfalconsp
Then trade down 10 spots and take your pick of the safety class or 2nd tier of CBs, and pick up another 2nd round pick. Lets you go the other direction in the 2nd round and still have a 2nd rounder for a LB or DT. PriMeTiiMe

I personally trust more safeties to make a Day 1 impact than any CB in the draft besides Okudah.
takeitdown
If we're really trying to do that, would likely trade back. A lot of good corners and safeties projected in the late 1st to early 3rd. If we could have a late first and get an extra 2nd...We could easily get two promising secondary players (CB and S) and one other position (DT, LB) before we're out of the 2nd round. They're not going to be guarantees...but good bets...and if you hit on them, your D is far far better quickly. PriMeTiiMe
Trade Back to the end of the 1st if we want to do that while adding a 2nd.
g-dawg
hopefully if Falcons look to transform the secondary, these new players can cover for 8 seconds because that is how long Drew Brees and Tom Brady will be sitting in the pocket.
