1/6 did offer an interesting range of people. Of course you had the hard core right wing militia types, but you also had a lot of upper middle class whitebread folks that were radicalized through Facebook and cable news. It's going to be a hard realization for those folks when they have a felony record following them for the rest of their lives.

And ironically that felony record will keep them from voting in future elections.

Seems like rescuing dogs during lockdown is a thing around here. It happened to us this past week. This guy wandered up dirty and skinny, playing with my daughter in the front yard. After a few days o

So NOW they want witnesses and a thorough process...

“The House impeachment process seeks to legitimize a snap impeachment totally void of due process,” Graham said in a statement Wednesday. “No hearings. No witnesses. It is a rushed process that, over time, will become a threat to future presidents. As to Senate leadership, I fear they are making the problem worse, not better.”

Almost like all of those left twitter narratives about him were full of ****, huh?

Hold the phone there buddy... Easy to spit a bunch of numbers if you know **** well Manchin won't go for it and it won't pass. We've seen this game before...

Schumer - "Give them $50k in student loan forgiveness!"

Biden - "How about $10k if the loans are in default and if they are financed through private institutions"

Schumer - "Schucks. We tried guys."

We literally crucified Loeffler and Perdue for this exact thing when they came out for $2k checks knowing **** well it wouldn't pass... Schumer, Biden, Pelosi will get credit when they actually do something. Talk is cheap.

Is this like in April/May when people were saying Schumer was just going to bail out corporations and not have help for regular people in the form of checks and UI?  Because it sounds like that.

What a wonderful man to provide such comfort to insurrectionists . . .

Uh oh . . .

Section 3.

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

We'll see? Last I checked, Schumer was really riding along in that boat, seeing as how he was the Minority leader. AKA, it doesn't get passed unless the GOP was going to pass it. And if they decided they were going to pass it, it was getting passed with or without Schumer.

So, we'll see. We'll see if we get $50k in forgiveness. We'll see if we get $2k. Again, it's easy to announce when you have no chance in passing it. See Loeffler and Perdue.

And don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely rooting for them. 100%.

But, once bitten twice shy...
