Drafttek's 7-round mock draft of March 27

Recommended Posts

1.  K'Lavon Chaisson  Edge  LSU

Thomas Dimitroff said he wasn't worried about being in "cap ****," and apparently he was telling the truth. Atlanta was able to fill major holes at EDGE, RB, and TE before adding much-needed depth at CB3, WR4, and along the OL. As of now, they still need help along the defensive line, linebacker, and cornerback, but they have a lot more flexibility in terms of what they need to target and when.

In this mock, Javon Kinlaw goes right before their pick, but they are able to add an impact player who can move between the line and linebacker the way he did at LSU. With Takk McKinley recovering from yet another shoulder surgery (and his fifth-year option unlikely to be picked up), Chaisson can be a "game wrecker" at multiple positions while he adds some bulk to eventually move to the edge full time. This mock still allows Atlanta to add an impact linebacker and a nice developmental corner on Day Two.

2.  Damon Arnette  CB  Ohio State

3.  Josh Uche  OLB  Michigan

4a  Jeremy Chinn  S   Southern illinois

4b  Nick Harris  OC   Washington

Bravvion Roy  DT   Baylor

Arnette’s a guy I’ve warmed up to as of late the guy can play.

Uches an athlete for sure.

Overall it’s a good draft this if we managed to get this haul.

Still leave us one short up front I think. But everything else is buttoned up on the defense.
