Weird though because Bill has been there 7 seasons...these are all his people. I’m f Bill doesn’t have a miracle season he is gone. Back to college

Maybe he feels he can win with less payroll going to a core group of players...

You'd think. But he just skated off blowing a 24-0 lead lol. In fact I wanna say he actually got promoted in the last couple years.

Trading him to the most successful dynasty in NFL history who just so happens to be in your conference is window-licker level stupidity.

Say what now?

Exactly my point. Houston might trade Watson for a **** 7th round draft pick lol

O’Brien is a complete narcissist and a moron.  He will cost the Texans Hopkins, Clowney & Watson

• Traded Hopkins and no 1st round in return

• Traded two 1st round picks for Tunsil

• Only got 3rd round pick for Clowney

•  Gave up 3rd round pick for Duke Johnson who was getting released

• He started Savage over Watson his rookie year

• Called Hopkins in for meeting and basically compared him to Aaron Hernandez

They’ll fire the coach before they trade the franchise QB.

Watson could actually force his way out of Houston if he really wants to.

Bill O'Brien surviving this long as the Texans HC and even given him GM power proves how invested the ownership is in him.

Watson has 1 season left plus a 5th year option on his contract. Texans could franchise tag him for 2 more season after that, but I'm sure they would get crazy trade offers for him instead of just letting Watson being disgruntled and lose him for nothing in a few years.

If they feel Watson leaves via FA, they will look to trade him next offseason

There are no watson rumors. They traded a WR not a dsmn QB.

Yep, Texans would have no choice but to trade Watson if he doesn't want to be there.

O'Brien would probably get another chance to start over, but would be on a very short leash.

Irvin: Texans’ Bill O’Brien likened DeAndre Hopkins to Aaron Hernandez

Houston Texans coach Bill O’Brien compared DeAndre Hopkins to former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, who in 2015 was found guilty of first-degree murder. O’Brien also complained about the mothers of Hopkins’ children being around the team facilities, Hopkins told Hall of Fame receiver Michael Irvin.

Those comments by O’Brien, according to Irvin, all came about in a meeting meant for the Texans coach to hash things out with Hopkins, who was Houston’s star receiver.

Sportsbooks have placed 3/1 odds that Watson will be NE’s QB in 2021...would not surprise me if he is moved next year

Patriots stay getting great players...

At least he's not as bad as that evil TD

I don’t blame him for being disgruntled, He’s disgruntled because of his coach, who’ll be fired before mid-season.

:D

we would have the 2 best WR in the league and Ridley as slot...and an OC who would run them all on deep routes while Ryan gets killed...

Ryan is a better QB and gives us a better chance of winning right now.

Lol bruh as much as I love Matt Ryan they went head to head last year 53-32 ... just one game but i would take Watson going forward over Matt more mobility and more spark has injury concerns which are real but i believe Watson’s ceiling is higher than Matt’s which i believe he reached in 2016 if we could trade Matt and a 1st a few extra picks i would pull the trigger all that said ... it won’t happen ... fun to speculate tho

It's possible, but Bill O'Brien may have some leeway with the ownership because he's the GM also.

They may allow him start all over one more time.
