The Falcons have agreed to terms with OL Justin McCray, who played last season for the Browns and previously played for the Packers, a source said. The versatile lineman played in 15 games last season (four starts) and has 15 career starts to his credit

Could mean the end of one of the bust guards between Carpenter and Brown.

Gotta eat the dead money, but one would probably save us some money Post June.

Only Carp could save us money as a post-6/1. Brown is a >loss< of cap space by cutting him at all this year, iirc.

Also, according to some...Carp just made a signing bonus trigger more guarantee money by not being cut before Friday or something like that. (Not sure if that would be avoidable if needed to be a post-6/1)...

Hope this doesn't cost us a comp pick.

We probably won't be getting any comp picks.  The two biggest comp players that we had were Beasley and Hooper.  Fowler and Gurley signings pretty much negate those two.

Gurley negates nothing as he was released. We're still in line for a 5th and two 6ths depending on this signing. The 5th could turn into a 4th.

We'd get one for Beasley, Campbell and Schweitzer

A signing can only negate what it equals. A 5th round signing can only negate a 5th round comp pick or below.

This signing would have to be for more than Wes got for it to negate his
