Cheyakita 908
This signing allows us to go after a top tier OL in the second, a Kinlaw/Cushenberry 1-2 would be amazing! Also possible to trade up for Derrick Brown...ohh the possibilities! GATXBOI
Snafu 6,980
Yall can keep banging on his knee if you want, but he still produced 1000 AP yards, 14 TD's and nearly 60 1st down conversions. Even with the arthritis he's a better back than anyone we've had since Mike Turner. Jay Z 70
I'm good with this move! Can't be for much $$$... Had a down year, but was better than Freeman. Don't have to invest a early RD pick on RB. Sounds like a win to me!
Dirtier Bird 240
Not a fan unless he can he play offensive guard or tackle. Have you seen our O Line get knocked back a yard on running plays? He will need three yards after contact to gain one yard.

Seems like a Ray Edwards 2.0 & Steven Jackson 2.0 type of year, all in one. I’m guessing it is due to the year. So far, 2020 is shaping up to be a disappointing season. runshoot 1,374
steven jackson. Same broken RB same broken run game offense. Why would anyone be excited?
Snafu 6,980
On a 1 year deal, all risk is mitigated. Worth the gamble for a player of his potential. mountain_jim3 and 32wood84white

But something tells me that he will be proving a lot of people wrong. This sounds exciting, Gurley with Julio, Ridley, and Hurst ?? Who can all stretch the field. Dmn A 1 year deal doesnt fix his knee and a 1 year deal doesnt fix Koetters offense. I remember the last time we signed a RB from Rams into a Dirk offense..... Monolith2001 5,045
I've never been hungry for Gurley as I wanted pass rush in 2015. I can say I'm neither here nor there emotionally. I hope we get the best version of him as he is a beast when healthy. One year deal makes sense but I am more concerned with how this changes plans. Clearly all the moves up to this point seemed planned and thought out but this one seems like a departure from that. Edited March 20, 2020 by Monolith2001
Jpg428gggg 1,688
Great signing. Not sure how anyone can rip on this. It is one year deal for one of the most talented backs in the NFL who is still young. These are the types of moves that the top teams make. If he doesn't do well, he is gone after this year. If he has a great year, you try to resign him or take the comp pick. SleepyJoeB, FA91 and JDaveG

atljbo 21,719
Let me say this about Gurly.... I would not have did it... Just get a young cheap option in the draft... I get it tho... it will put butts in the seat Now do I think he can have a 1200 yard 10 TD season.... I do... What scares me is I don't want that to trick this team into thinking he can consistently be that guy then resign him to a big deal with them knees. youngbloodz 16,287
It’s actually a smart business move because UGA fans love Gurley. He won’t be the focal point of this offense so it has zero downside SleepyJoeB, thamill, xSICKxWITHxITx and 1 other
Rings 7,417
Very happy it’s a one year deal and not a long term investment. Depending on price this could be a good signing, and since the Rams are paying him a ton to not be on the team, it should be very low.
