Gurlie to Atlantie!?

Recommended Posts

He's a little washed but there's still some juice in the tank. He can give us 180-200 good touches a year. Sign him for 1 yr. 3.5mil with a few million in incentives. Call it a prove it contract. Worst case scenario he's part of the RBBC. Best case, he gets some knee injection treatment and has a great season.

Squidbilly hit the nail on the head!!

His knee isn't even that bad. Totally overblown, pun intended. PS I hate UGA so it ain't about that, not remotely.

And I'd say Gurley's 2nd season was worse. A lot worse. Came back (arguably) the best RB in the league 2017 and 2018. McVay went out of his way not to use him this year.

I just hope if he signs, it’s a football decision and not a Arthur Blank/Ticket Selling decision.

Por que no los dos?

Maybe it's the cabin fever setting in from self-quarantine, but if we can afford it, it sounds like a way more fun experiment than run, run, pass, three and out, defense lets up a score, rinse and repeat until we fall out of the playoffs and start winning.

Arthritis means the Rams massively overpayed, it doesn't mean he's done yet, and our backfield is awful.

Gurley would be ok if we got him for a decent price and don’t let him running the ball 300+ times. 200-240 carries and I’ll be good with this dude as our back and I’m from Cali not a UGA fan.

Not that I’m on the Gurley bandwagon but w Koetter at the helm Gurley could go into semi retirement here

Run game needs improvement but this isn’t the only choice.  Drafting a young, healthy RB#1 is probably a better way to go.
