Dolphins and Falcons

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Falcons and Dolphins had the most trade interest before the Rams released Todd Gurley.

Gurley's contract was bad enough that a trade was never going to happen, but they are sensible landing spots. The free-spending Dolphins have since signed Jordan Howard, but that might not be a deal-breaker. Atlanta would be a homecoming for Gurley, and the Falcons currently have one of the league's worst backfields. Gurley, of course, does not have good 2019 film.

As much as most will ignore it, this matters.

At first I said “no”, but we are RBBC with Ollie, Hill, and Ito. Let’s do it. What do you say @Ovie_Lover @athell @Vandy @MSalmon @JD dirtybird21 @vel @FalconsIn2012

I’m in. And I’d even double down and still draft Dobbins.

Koetter sucks. Talent could mask it. I’ve been lobbying for star backs the moment it was announced Koetter was coming back

MJD said on the NFL Network that it chaps him how a QB can be given excused for regressed play when his line deteriorates but RBs are pilloried under the same circumstance. He's right. Running backs with vision and cutting ability are great but they're uber dependent upon having a line that can at least open holes. If we got the right deal, I'd be cool with bringing him in. One less position of need in the draft.

'if the price is right'

then pair him with a burner in the draft. Mcfarland possibly. Be gone with Lto and Hill.

Correct, I’d take him over what we have, BUTTTTT bc of what we have it would keep him fresh

Exactly what I said...Keep him fresh

Definitely! Still pick up a guy like McFarland and dump Ito. Gurley, Ollie, Hill and McFarland makes me happy
