But found it interesting that the Baltimore Ravens got thier name from Edgar Allen Poe.. Poe wrote a poem called "The Raven" his most known piece of work.. Poe lived in Baltimore, so thats how the team incorporated the name "Ravens".. Didnt know that, but found it interesting.. Just a little fyi.. Ive always been a fan of Edgar Allen Poe

Watched a video about the origin of each NFL teams name. Thought that one was cool too.

Should also be noted Ravens were on same rebuild and trajectory as Falcons in 2008 and tracked similarly for first 6 years.   They have already rebuilt again - Falcons May just be starting.

True

But even when they drafted Flacco back in 2008 that defense with Lewis, Reed, Suggs, and Ngata was already the foundation of that team and were getting up there in age.

Flacco started to become a bottom 10 QB after that 2012 SB run, which made it easy for the Ravens to click the reset button and rebuild because by that time they had no players tied to any noticably big contracts and no decent QB.

Oh I know and you are right to point out Ravens had more of a low point than Falcons from 2013-2016 but just saying Ravens have done a nice job replenishing their roster while maintaining consistent coaching.
