But we’ve restructured over 12 million since December. That means we were over 8 mill over “Falcons Restructure Matt Ryan & Grady Jarrett's Contracts, Pick Up Over $12M Of 2020 Cap Room. ... AxManBigFan
So where do we sit with our cap situation overall? After restructures we are sitting with 4-5 mil of cap space?

Zzzzz
... but, but, but TD just a few months ago sat there and mocked everyone who said they're in trouble with cap space and said they were just fine. dirtybirds233
That $4.9M DOES include the Ryan and Grady restructures. Cutting Freeman and Sambrailo gets us just over $12M, and a little less than half of that will go towards rookie contracts. The rest needs to go to any affordable veteran depth. In 2021, we'll have around 40 players under contract including the '20 and '21 draft classes, with about $25M in cap room. The only major resign we would be facing would be Keanu Neal. Remember, until CBA is agreed upon, there is no post June 1 cuts.

I hear people talk Freeman, and trufant have too much dead money to cut this year

When that happens freeman is gone but I still think Trufant stays with the team
