LaurentRobinsonDaGawd
With the reports of us going after pass rushers in FA, I made a list of the RELEVANT DE or LEO players that we could go after in FA. I did NOT include players like Chris Jones, Leonard Williams or Derek Wolfe for example, who would more than likely be a DT in our scheme. These are players that would play DE, LEO, or some SLB as a pass rusher in iur scheme. Some, like Shaq Lawson, would spend some time at DT to improve the interior pass rush. With that said, lets get into the list: NOTES: - The age listed for each player is their age when Week 1 starts. - I dont want a lot of these players, but I just wanted to list just about EVERY DE/LEO FA, so other posters can come back and reference this list when creating their mock offseasons and need to find a EDGE player to add in FA. - The number in parentheses next to the players 2019 numbers for that stat is that players single season career high for that given statistic. - Dante Fowler Jr. (26) 16 GP/14 GS 58 total tackles (58) 11.5 sacks (11.5) 16 TFL (16) 16 QBH (16) 2 FF (2 three times) 6 PD (6) - Jadeveon Clowney (27) 13 GP/11 GS 31 total tackles (59) 3.0 sacks (9.5) 7 TFL (21) 13 QBH (21 two times) 4 FF (4) 3 PD (6) - Yannick Ngakoue (25) 15 GP/15 GS 41 total tackles (41) 8.0 sacks (12.0) 13 TFL (13 two times) 15 QBH (33) 4 FF (6) 6 PD (6) - Arik Armstead (26) 16 GP/16 GS 54 total tackles (54) 10.0 sacks (10.0) 11 TFL (11) 18 QBH (18) 2 FF (2) 2 PD (2) - Shaq Lawson (26) 15 GP/10 GS 32 total tackles (33) 6.5 sacks (6.5) 13 TFL (13) 18 QBH (18) 1 FF (2) 2 PD (5) - Robert Quinn (30) 14 GP/14 GS 34 total tackles (57) 11.5 sacks (19.0) 13 TFL (23) 22 QBH (34) 2 FF (7) 3 PD (6) - Matt Judon (28) RAVENS said they'll tag Judon 16 GP/16 GS 54 total tackles (61) 9.5 sacks (9.5) 14 TFL (17) 33 QBH (33) 4 FF (4) 3 PD (3 two times) - Bud Dupree (27) 16 GP/16 GS 68 total tackles (68) 11.5 sacks (11.5) 16 TFL (16) 17 QBH (17) 4 FF (4) 3 PD (3 two times) - Jason Pierre-Paul (31) 10 GP/8 GS 27 total tackles (86) 8.5 sacks (16.5) 9 TFL (23) 16 QBH (28) 2 FF (3 two times) 2 PD (8) - Everson Griffen (32) 15 GP/15 GS 41 total tackles (58) 8.0 sacks (13.0) 11 TFL (14 two times) 24 QBH (30) 0 FF (3) 2 PD (4) - Markus Golden (29) 16 GP/16 GS 72 total tackles (72) 10.0 sacks (12.5) 13 TFL (16) 27 QBH (27) 0 FF (4) 0 PD (2) - Mario Addison (33) 15 GP/15 GS 34 total tackles (44) 9.5 sacks (11.0) 6 TFL (11 two times) 14 QBH (17) 2 FF (2 four times) 0 PD (1) - Michael Bennett (34) 15 GP/1 GS 32 total tackles (52) 6.5 sacks (10.0) 14 TFL (18 two times) 15 QBH (30 two times) 0 FF (4) 0 PD (3) - Bruce Irvin (32) 13 GP/12 GS 36 total tackles (58) 8.5 sacks (8.5) 8 TFL (14) 16 QBH (25) 1 FF (6) 1 PD (3 two times) - Emmanuel Ogbah (26) 10 GP/4 GS 32 total tackles (53) 5.5 sacks (5.5 two times) 6 TFL (8) 11 QBH (16) 1 FF (2) 3 PD (8) - Carl Nassib (26) 14 GP/8 GS 34 total tackles (34) 6.0 sacks (6.5) 8 TFL (12) 11 QBH (14) 1 FF (2) 0 PD (5) - Ezekiel Ansah (31) 11 GP/1 GS 18 total tackles (49) 2.5 sacks (14.5) 3 TFL (15 two times) 8 QBH (34) 2 FF (4) 2 PD (2) - Ronald Blair (27) 9 GP/0 GS 21 total tackles (36) 3.0 sacks (5.5) 7 TFL (10) 3 QBH (14) 0 FF (1) 0 PD (0) - Vinny Curry (32) 16 GP/2 GS 27 total tackles (42) 5.0 sacks (9.0) 5 TFL (10) 12 QBH (18) 0 FF (4) 0 PD (2) - Jabaal Sheard (31) 13 GP/12 GS 25 total tackles (55) 4.5 sacks (8.5) 5 TFL (14) 9 QBH (13) 0 FF (5) 2 PD (4 three times) - Oliver Vernon (29) 10 GP/10 GS 26 total tackles (64) 3.5 sacks (11.5) 4 TFL (18) 11 QBH (36) 1 FF (2 two times) 0 PD (1 two times) In conclusion, I FIRMLY believe we are going to aign one of tge VERY TOP pass rushers in this FA class for these reasons: - DQ and TD's jobs on the line - We let our leading sacker walk, even if it was Beasley - theres a weak DE class and a lot of the DE in this class aren't PURE pass rushers(especially in the 1st round) - We let a proven, Pro Bowl TE walk, who had GREAT chemaitry with Matt. You dont do that unless you have a big plan to use all that money on a bigger need - We have lacked that bonafide #1 pass rusher since JA55 - Its not every often that you have young, pro bowl caliber DE, who havent entered their primes yet, hit FA. Indont see how we DONT swing for the fences. TD can maneuver thungs around, and make it so the actual cap hit wont be as big as people think. We just have to hope Jacksonville, LA, and Seattle dont franchise tag those young pass rushers. If they do, I think its even more likely we get either JPP, Quinn, or Lawson, as those 6 DE are the only ones I see being able to actually improve the DL significantly. FalconFanSince1969
I want players that will fit in the 3-4 and 4-3 that way we don't sign someone completely worthless if we end up blowing this thing up next year. That being said give me Fowler or quinn. gtech1

Hes put up very solid nunbers in his career. Similar to Mcphee and Z. smiths career in baltimore.

I still think we end up with fowler. Espn predicted today in an article that they hut fowler with the tag, and ny heart dropped lol. I see no way that happens, because they will want to keep littleton over him. They have little LB talent outside of Littleton. You can see with how many more tackles he has than the other FA DE. Id be very disappointed, and would cause added pressure on front office to get Clowney, Ngakoue, Quinn, or lawson(to a lesser extent). If fowler said he wants to be in ATL, maybe they already informed him they cant bring him back. Otherwise Idk why he would say that. LA is a big attraction to players, and he was in the perfect role for him last year. Plus, other than that article from ESPN, ive seen every reporter and analyst say hes leaving LA.
