MOCKDRAFT - The Danish Edition 2020 - part 2

Recommended Posts

This is my second one. Trying to go a different route.

Free Agency:
 - Cut Deconte Freeman 1st of July - easy one.
 - Cut Schaub, Allen Bailey, Luke Stocker
 - Say goodbye to Beasley,  Campbell, Hooper

 - Extend Mack

 - Sign:
Everson Griffin, DE - This a close to a big signing. Fowler will get near 15 mio and we will not have the money to secure him. We manage to get Griffin for 10mio/year.
Danny Shelton, DT - big guy who comes for cheap. A big dude in the middle.

Tyler Eifert, TE, one year prove deal. After all the injuries he gets a chance to go to a different location.
Ronald Darby - Necessary depth on the corner position.

DRAFT - BASED on CBS Sports Ranking:

TRADE - Isaiah Simmons is falling and we call the Jaguars who draft at 9. We offer our first round selection along with our last second round selection and get this playmaker.

1. Isaiah Simmons, OLB, Clemson

·         We want to get better in the trenches, but when this playmaker starts to fall we make the move. The perfect partner in crime for Deion Jones.

2a. Ross Blacklock, DT, TCU

·         We want this guy next to Jarrett. He will split carries with Shelton, but will be the guy on third down and as the season goes a starter next to Jarrett

2b TRADED TO JAGUARS

3 Trevis Gipson, Edge, Tulsa

 - We need predators on the D line and we add another one in the third round.. We need more possibilities and depth on this position

4 Logan Stenberg, G, Kentucky

 - Stenberg will be in competion to start this year. Next year we will move on from Carpenter/Brown.
5. Eno Benjamin, RB, Arizona State

 - I have always hated the Devonta Freeman contract, Benjamin will be a part of the rotation at running back in 2020. With a good O line he will good.

7. Joey Magnifico, TE, Memphis
 -  A prospect who needs to learn at the next level. Hopefully Eifers can teach him a thing or two.
